Ya all need to breath for a second. Ever hear of “Marketing,” “Selling’” “Consumerism?” Take a step back and watch how things are being sold. This cover has struck a cord with a lot of people: rappers, black men & women, christians, etc, etc. This kind of controversy sells albums!!!

And, why is it that when a man expresses himself outside of rage, violence, anger he is considered “a little fruity” or “a little bitch” or that he should “take a trip to a store for some midol?”
First of all, how insulting to women. Secondly, what kind of men are you people dating? What kind of pressure is society putting on men to “Be Men?” What does it really mean? Someone who is in touch with themselves and brings that forward with ethics, morals, and expresses him or herself out of a loving place with respect, kindness, caring and love. That is human. We need more men and people like this!
Do you need Kanye to sport the stereotypes in rap music that are representative today and throw insults around like “bich” or “hoes” or “fag?” Or to produce a video belittling and diminishing women to a sexual object? Aren’t we done with this? Haven’t we had enough of that? Honor yourself as more than your sexuality.
Seems to me Kanye’s authentic, real, in-touch with himself, confident, and, yes, arrogant.
I can name a ton of artists, actors, musicians, CEO’s, and everyday people who exemplify these same traits! P-Diddy for one. Have you heard an acceptance speach at an awards show? Half of them are full how great they are! Did you see Faith Hill at the CMA when she didn’t win? Hello, J-LO? Oprah? Star Jones and that damn wedding we heard about forever! And ever! Talk about arrogant! Do we care about Tom Cruises wedding? Do you know how much money he spent on that charade? That’s arrogant!
