Yeah, there’s ususally a lighter child in families …but in black families not with BLONDE HAIR AND BLUE EYES!! Especially when neither of the parents have it themselves. But they are cute regardless.

You have to remember that a lot of blacks are mixed up. Thank you! My family runs from mahogany to blue eyes and blond hair - I’m fair skinned enough to be exhausted of (and extremely irritated with) the question, “Are you really black?” But I never, NEVER deny my heritage. Black is black.

Ok..I stand corrected. I don’t know what you look like but I assumed from the photo that since the neither one of the parents didn’t have blonde hair/blue eyes that this could be surprising to black people. Im not SUPRISED BUT THIS IS VERY RARE! WE TALKED ABOUT THIS IN BIOLOGY! 2 different sperm from the SAME man I believe, fertilized two different ovums! My teacher said that One had genes that brought out the dominant (traits from the black side of the family on the one baby) and the other brought out dominant traits for other side of the family on the other baby! Its very rare! Both of them are gorgeous though I like the features more on the DARKER skin baby! They stand out more

This doesn’t surprise me at all. I’m come from caribbean decent and most if not all families have a mixture of all races. Most people believe when they mix black and white they will come out with a child who “looks” mixed. But your child can take on either side of the family…or better still can turn out looking like some straight up indian child…who people think you adopted!!

I tend to not hold the Maury show up to the same standards as justifiable research.

Well, there are dominant and recessive genes, but realize that both parents have one white parent, so its very possible that Mom’s white genes and Dad’s white genes came together in the case of Remee. More possible than if only one parent was mixed. It shouldn’t be too difficult to understand. You can have your dad’s eyes and your mom’s hair color, or you can look like your dad’s mini-me and not have any of your mom’s features. It all depends on which way the genes match up when you are conceived, in Remee’s case all her mom’s white genes and all her dad’s white genes happened to come together. She looks like a white verson of her dad, especially the shape of her eyes.
