Coco, you spoke the truth so I have to give props where props is due. Sad thing is, most brothers could cares less who we end up with. As long as they don’t have to deal with us everything is peachy. Now I always wonder how some brothers treat their black daughters when they end up with “other” type women and have biracial children. If they hate black women, doesn’t that mean they also hate black little girls which also means they hate their daughters if they have any? I mean keep it real. If you hate black women you hate all that you know and do not know. Don’t front and say you don’t hate your mom. It makes no sense. If you despise anything black you despise your mother too, whether you admit to it or not. It’s just not a conscious thing, it’s a subconscious thing too. You can say, look, or do something to a black woman who is a family member without thinking about it twice. Same goes for black women who hate black men. But I won’t go further into that. Had to get that off my chest though. And for the ones who want to argue and get mad about what I’ve typed, if this doesn’t apply to you why should you get mad? If in no way, shape, or form you have displayed any type of hatred towards black women in your family and beyond, then you have nothing to worry about…right? Think about that before you respond.
Everyone looks very good. As far as India goes, I remember in high school how many people I knew said she was ugly because she was dark. You know what they thought of Alicia though, figures. I have never understood that. A person can be dark as hell, say another dark person is ugly, but view themselves in high-esteem. Or someone will say, she would be more attractive if she were lighter. Um, I’m sorry but there is no way we can defy genetics. If you were bound to be dark that’s the way it has to be. I mean a lot of ignorant ass black folks still go by the old saying, “If you light ya alright, if you brown stick around, but if you black get the hell on back”. When will this shit end. Then we want to scream and holler when a white man or woman calls us a dark monkey, yet we do the same shit to our own people lmao. Ah, hypocricy lives well within our communities doesn’t it? Peace.
