“Light skin” or “high yellow”? Can we drop the racist crap? Read a book people! The majority of all African-Americans are mixed-race. The average African-American has, besides his/her African DNA, 20 to 30% European DNA along with 8 to 11% Native American DNA.

Folks, have you never seen a picture of Malcom X (who had fair skin and red hair)? Frederick Douglass’ father was white. Martin Luther King Jr and Coretta Scott King were also mixed-race. Just as Thurgood Marshall or Adam Clayton Powell or WEB Dubois or Rosa Parks. All of these people fought for our Civil Rights.

Darker complexioned people are just as beautiful as lighter skinned people supposedly are. If you prefer light to dark or vice versa, ask yourself is this because of learned hatred of self or other.
