I don’t know if yall remember when I posted some info on that Lou Rawls drama, if you didn’t, click here to read up on it. Anyway, his crazy wife Nina Inman-Rawls left some threatening messages on Louanna Rawls’ (Lou’s daughter) voicemail. And I had to post this so yall could hear it.
On the voice mail, Nina Rawls said, “By the time I’m done with your dad, none of yall are gonna have shit left.” She also said, “There was no pre-nup signed, he should have listened to you, your absolutely right & I’m going to take it all.” She then went on to say some other ig’nant comments, that really pissed me off.
Eurweb (who I got the voicemail link from) says in an article that Nina refused to allow Louanna to see her father at the funeral home. “She said if Louanna wanted to go, she could go with the public like everybody else,” said Rawls’ friend of 40 years, who spoke to EUR’s Lee Bailey on condition of anonymity. All I know is that if somebody would have tried to even come at me like that (ie. talking about my family, etc) some blood would have been drawn. I don’t understand these celebrities; can they not see that people are after their money. All that he has worked for is in jeopardy because of this gold-digging trick. How do yall feel about this situation?

First off, any time you see that image above this month, you will know this post has something do with Black History Month. For example: educational shows you should check out, or just little tidbits of info I think we all should know (and probably already do. but it’s always good to reiterate).

4-PART PBS SERIES..

African-American Lives is a 4 part series that PBS premiered last night. Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. takes us on a journey with 8 prominent African Americans (Oprah, Chris Tucker, Whoppi Goldberg, etc..) to research their family history. I must say it was very interesting and educational.
I really apologize for not posting about this sooner, because it is really a must see. It makes you want to start researching your own family history. It also presents different stories in this book we call BLACK HISTORY. To learn more about this documentary, check out pbs.org.
