UPDATE ON THAT JAMIE FOXX SPECIAL….

Since I got a couple of e-mails asking about the ratings for Jamie Foxx’s music special, I decided to post it up. Homeboy came in 67th place, with 6.6 million viewers. I knew yall were going to be watching that American Idol!! . American Idol came in first for that night. (read more about it). I don’t care what anyone says though, NBC still don’t like black people.

- Samuel L. Jackson FINALLY GETS HIS STAR. It’s about damn time!!
- Terrence Howard is nominated for an Oscar for his role in “Hustle & Flow.” What about Crash? They know they wrong!

NEW SERIES COMING IN MARCH ON FX.

  I know I’m not the only one who saw the commericial for FX’s new series, BLACK.WHITE. Basically the show is going to take two “real” families and make them trade races. As you can tell, the white family will turn black and so on. There isn’t really that much info about the show, other than Ice Cube is one of the executive producers. This should be interesting though. Check out FX’s site to see the trailer.
  I remember Oprah doing something like this like 5 years ago. I think she had white dude turn black for about a month. He took some type of pill that changed the melanin in his skin. Anyway, I’ll keep you all posted on this series.
