EVE REPORTEDLY DATING SON OF AFRICAN DICTATOR..

The New York Daily News is reporting that rap star Eve’s new man is the 35-year-old son of Equatorial Guinea dictator Teodoro Obiang Nguema (not that white dude she was seen with at The Sundance Film Festival).
According to the paper, Teodorin Nguema Obiang spent close to $700,000 to rent Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen’s 303-foot yacht, Tatoosh, and took the UPN star as his date. A guest on the boat docked in St. Barts told the Daily News: “They looked very affectionate. They were dancing all night.” Teodorin has reportedly been trying to holler at Eve since meeting her two years ago. A friend of the 27-year-old rapper told the Daily News: “He’s been after her for a long time. She finally gave in. Since then, it’s been off and on. She knows what he’s about. ANOTHER ASSISTANT QUITS ON HER, i wonder why…

Naomi Campbell reportedly got into a shouting match with her personal assistant on a flight to London to Los Angeles last week. Before boarding, the supermodel was heard complaining on the phone about service. She then turned on her assistant, and allegedly upset her employee so badly she quit mid-flight. A source said: “Naomi was angry because some dresses didn’t get where they were supposed to go, and the assistant yelled that she was quitting.” (read more)
Somebody needs to beat Naomi’s ass one good time, because she is diva to the bone. I know yall remember when she busted her old assistant up side the head with a blackberry. Please!! Naomi, would have been Naugly, if she even attempted to do that to me.

According to espn.com’s Jim Caple, Whitney Houston didn’t do so well during her performance at the Winter Olympics two days ago. He stated that, “the years have not been kind to her voice.”

Sunday, February 19, 2006–There is a concert following each medals ceremony and Whitney was introduced to a loud ovation for her scheduled 9 p.m. performance. And then, nothing happened. For five-to-seven minutes, there wasn’t a sign of anyone. (Perhaps Bobby was helping her with, ahem, a bathroom issue.) Finally, the emcee came back out, apologized and re-introduced Whitney. A few minutes later, she finally appeared, wearing an all-white ensemble. She seemed shocked to see the snow, said she had never performed in such weather and asked, “This is the Winter Olympics, right?”

Uh, yeah. It is. While ducking frequent clots of snow falling from the stage lights, Whitney attempted to sing some of her biggest hits, but it quickly became clear that the years have not been kind to her voice. And people thought Ryan Leaf wasted a lot of talent.
Can’t wait to see this one on “Being Bobby Brown.”

I’m kind of dissappointed about this, I thought this was going to be her big comeback to the scene. I guess it’s too late for that shit.

DASH ASSISTS RETURN OF SON’S SNATCHED CELL PHONE..

Damon Dash went to the aide of his son (seen above) recently, when some school bullies stole his cell phone at school. Read the article:

Being the son of rap mogul Damon Dash has its privileges. According to the New York Post, Damon Jr. was jacked for his cell phone by some local kids near New York’s Dwight School, where Junior is a student in the eighth grade.
When word of the mugging got back to Dash, pops decided to take matters into his own hands. The paper reports that Dash and “a couple of large friends” went up to the school’s location near Central Park West and 89th Street.
While it was not reported what happened next, the cell phone somehow turned up in Dash’s possession within minutes. A spokeswoman for Dash declined comment about the incident to the Post, but an insider told the paper, “It’s totally true.” (source)

MYA IS MAKING A COME BACK..

NEW ALBUM IN WORKS; AS WELL AS MODEL DEAL..

MYA has signed a 6-figure deal with FORD models & she is making plans to launch her own fashion line. The singer has spent the past week studiously attending catwalk shows at New York City’s Fashion Week, to inspire her creativity. She says, “I’ve been sketching since I was 14. I designed my own prom dress.” However, Mýa insists she is under no pressure and won’t be producing her line until “maybe 2008.” She explains, “There’s no need to rush fashion.”
And this isn’t all people, she also has an album in the works, under Motown/Universal Records. Release date to be announced. (source)
Oh yeah, a friend of Mya’s told pagesix.com, that Mya never hooked up with 50 cent, as rumored earlier this month.
