AARON MCGRUDER NEEDS A BREAK
Starting at the end of March, newspapers will begin to print old Boondocks scripts. Why the hiatus? Well, Aaron McGruder (creator of the script) needs a much deserved break. From his popular show on Adult Swim, to his cult-hit comic-strip; he has too much on his plate.
In the letter he wrote to the editors of all 350 newspapers carrying the strip, he said, “Every well needs occasional refreshing, I hope that this fall you will agree that the time away from the demands of deadlines has served the strip, your readers and me.” He better not pull a Dave Chappelle!!
