WOULD YOU DATE A WHITE GUY?

ON OPRAH TOMORROW, BLACK WOMEN DATING WHITE MEN..

I’ve already made a post similar to this awhile back, but I wanted to bring it up again. Sisters, would you ever date a white man? I personally don’t know if I would. I mean love is love, and you don’t know what color it may come in. But I don’t know if that’s my cup of tea. I wanna read your input..

I have never dated a black guy, only white guys. I’m just more attracted to white men i guess, i’m always suspicious of black men (players) and in the UK (which is where i live), there are lot of black men dating white women so it goes both ways, if people call me a sell out, i call the brothers big time sell outs! I also find that white men are more affectionate.

  10. UPSET

I am from the Bahamas and black men are definitely into white women here, they love the way they expose themselves in public wearing nothing by a thong bikini.
Hell yea, I would date a white guy if there is a mutal attraction and interest. My perference is black men, but i’m open it.

    BOTTOM LINE

40% of Subsaharan Africa lives off less than 1 dollar a day. 38% of adults and 35% of adults in Swaziland and Botswana have HIV, 20% of South Africa has HIV. One corporation (Anglo American Corp) which owns BeBeers diamonds(80% of the worlds diamonds) has headquarters in south africa and this corp controls 40% of south africas stock exchange(LIBERATION???)
Of the 9 million adult black men in the US, 1 million are in prison right now another million have felony records. We are the most economically and politically unorganized group of people on the planet and blacks in the US spend billions. 70% of black families are single parent. Blacks get exploited by other races and the poor get exploited by the wealthy everyday and there is no consequence at all.

THIS IS ABOUT THE SURVIVAL OF THE RACE.

YOU MUST MARRY WITHIN YOUR RACE TO CONTINUE TO PRODUCE POSITIVE BLACK FAMILLIES OR END UP LIKE THE NATIVE AMERICANS (no disrespect) – REFUGEES IN YOUR OWN LAND.

    THINK ABOUT IT

II would date and even marry a white man because when you peal away the surface, we are all the same underneath anyway. Besides, if God desires for me to marry a man who holds all the qualities that would compliment me (as I would hold all the qualities that can compliment him) then why should I deny that because of something as shallow as a complexion difference?

I love all men. I appreciate the wonderful differences God has created within the human race. I know that if God has ordained for me to marry a man who just so happens to be white (or otherwise), He will surly give me the grace to go through the possible adversity my husband and I will have to face. Our union would be a sign to the world that the strong holds of racism and discrimination are being torn down.

Goodness man Whats going on in here. Black on black hate cant we all get along.

Anyway im a black guy in i really dont have a preference for any particular race. All i know is that if i love a woman i love a woman. What color she is should not be a factor.

  15. Karl

Ok so who cares what race u date as long as u love each other. If you date people outside ur race thats ur business but it had better be a good reason. Dont go dating white men or women cos ur sick of ur own race. It means u have issues and anyone regardless of race will dissapoint you. Instead do it cos u like people of that race or something.

  16. OVA AND OUT

YEAH I WOULD ,HE WOULD HAVE TO LOOK REAL FUCKIN GOOD!

  17. RYKEL

I would date outside my race. I have always loved all men no matter what their race was. In fact, I became attracted to a coworker last year. Me and him managed to establish a great friendship. You could always tell that we liked each other but were hesitant to do anything about it. Mainly because another coworker of ours always had something to say about black/white unions. My friend cared because the coworker who always had something to say was his best friend. However, we continued to let our friendship grow. After allowing our friendship to grow for a year we finally let our physical wants take over one night. Amazingly, he was THE BEST lover i’ve ever had. He was caring and passionate. Me and him are still friends but we never did anything like that again. I think we felt awkward about it. Not just because we were friends but also because it made us realize that dating and being together was almost impossible with our lifestyles. However, i think he really cared about me but was too scared to face the pressures of society. The point is, I agree that it is possible for a white man to truly and sincerely like a black woman and want to be with her…but only the ones who are willing to deal with society will make it happen. My guy just wasn’t ready for that. Unfortunately, after our year-long friendship…i managed to really really care for him. It kinda broke my heart that we couldn’t be together. Though I LOVE LOVE LOVE black men…i’m definitely open to white men. My white guy was an Abercrombie and Fitch kinda white guy. i don’t like those fake wanna-be white guys who try to incorporate themselves into the black culture and try to act like they are not white.

  18. RYKEL

In case it wasnt clear…my friend was a white guy.

Ahh, nice story RYKEL. Bittersweet :)

I think more black women would date white men than vice versa. Also I think more black men would date white women than vice versa.

  21. dizal

No, but am open to dating any race it just depends on the individual.

i’m not at all nearly as experienced as some of you are, so i will not pretend to be, so this is merely based on morals and perspective. first of all myths are myths for a reason, just belief…there isn’t anything scientifically proven that says white men have small dicks and black mens are huge. in addition, some are bringing up the point of not wanting to date or be involved with a white man because they may not know the struggle our people have faced…but in my town, i live in the east (nj, near ny) and some black men that i’ve come in contact with need a little history lesson too. some of their problems are that they think the world, including people of their own race, owe them something. i’m all for reparations but when a black guy is always blaming $4!t on “white america” – not saying it doesn’t exist but still – is becomes annoying. we all have to deal with being black and america, along with hidden prejudice – but you have to suck it up and show people that their stereotypes of african-american people are unjust and ignorant. therefore, i’m just saying, don’t use that excuse because some white me know and respect that, and believe it or not they do not believe they are superior among minorities. i also find that some white guys are way more respectful than black males, but that all goes back on the way people are reared. SO…when it comes down to it, it depends on the way a man is reared not his skin color, because i will be damned if a brother is going to disrespect in a multitude of ways and i just stay with him because of our skin color, when there might be a white male who loves black women and is just waiting and searching for the right one for him. also, who they are as a person plays a role. like i don’t dig the whole “acting white or black thing,” if you are white and you listen to punk rock and wear skinny jeans and band tees (w/a hansome face and good head on shoulders along with wonderful morals) i honestly can say that is attractive and i would go for that, but in addition if you are black and listen to r&b/rap and dress urban (w/a hansome face and good head on shoulders along with wonderful morals) i can also get down with that; but it becomes a problem when a person pretends to be someone they are not…plus i don’t really like that whole thugged out look on ANYONE – white or black. idk, it all depends but i for one will not say i will never date a white man and that i will date only black men because from both races men can be scum; it all depends.

  23. Greatestloveofall

Err..Hell yeah!! If all these black men are hookin up with white women, why can’t we??

  24. Greatestloveofall

U know, whites and other races are generally the least racist towards dating outside of their race, it’s more likely the blacks. The most hostile groups of people towards sisters dating outside their race are the following:

Black men who think black women ‘belong’ to them and somehow owe them. Some of these brothers are the same ones who will date white women, but give black women dirty looks if he sees her in the arms of a white man. Hypocrites.

Those ignorant bitter ass black women who interpret biracial marriages as selling out or being traitors. These sisters are those lonely ones who spend their whole lives ‘waiting’ for a black man, without realizing that there’s a big wide world out there to explore with plenty of men.

Even though a lot of my black female friends are either dating or even married to good, hard working black men, there are those who are treated like nothing by other black men. For example my friend Tonya, shes one of the most beautiful girls I’ve seen. She’s got a chocolate-brown complexion kinda like Kelly Rowland. None of the brothers in her neighborhood ever paid her any attention, but were eyeing the white girls, the Latinas, the mixed chicks. But when she went to college, guess who she got the attention from? White men, Hispanic men, Asian men. She graduated 5 yrs ago, and is in fact happily married to a white man and is expecting her first child. This man treats her like a queen. Their love is mutual and unconditional. No fuss, no complaints, nothing!

im a white guy nd i find black gurls real attractive im kinda scared to approch 1 jus incase she turn me down cause the color of my skin but id rather date a black gurll then anyother race

  26. ILoveWhiteGuys

I guess I’m one of those weird black women because I’ve always liked white guys. Not those thugged out wannabe types either. Just your average, cute, dorky, “thin-lipped” white guy will do :) I’m dating one right now and I really wouldn’t have it any other way, but to each her own.
