i’m happy for her eve though I wish she and aj would come back and host 106 and park again. That shown has gone down hill and julissa and tigger are the corniest hosts on tv period.

I totally miss Free, after looking at her My Space pics I realised how much I miss watching her on 106& Park. The show has not been the same w/out her. Good to see that she is continuing to hustle. I’m glad for her and wish her much success.

I agree with Lea. And to momo, I can’t stand it when black people say “at least she got a job”! It’s like we are supposed to just SETTLE for anything. We shouldn’t have to settle for just any job even though radio isn’t a bad job. I still wish she was back on 106 because the current hosts are wack.

Gotta agree with Lea and Sexual Chocolate. 106&Park just isn’t the same without her (and AJ I guess…). It seems so bootleg now with those cornball’ass hosts…can’t really explain it, but the flavor & character of the show is completely gone.

I loved the chemistry that AJ and Free had on the show. It came very natural for them. I’m proud of Free for not giving up and I wish her the best. I just used to hate when Free wouldn’t dance, she know she can dance!!!!!!

AJ and Free were corny at times, too, it’s just that Julissa and Tigger are even cornier, ALL THE TIME! Maybe it’s me, but I’ve totally outgrown that show, it’s a teenage show to me, it’s like a Black TRL. Both shows are equally corny.

Free look like she is happy! I miss her on 106 but did anyone else notice how she and AJ seem to have a love-hate relationship on air. I wasn’t surprised that they weren’t going to be working together anymore just that she was leaving. I knew that the two of them weren’t gonna work! Seemed to me that AJ was getting on Free’s nerves, it read all over her facial expressions. Also sorry to say it (cause Free my girl)but AJ is doing way more than her. I see him EVERWHERE! Free- mama you are WAY too pretty to be on radio! You need to be SEEN, not HEARD. Keep repping for the big-booty girls!!!!

With that being said, I would like to personally take it upon me to help guide us all on the path to becoming better, stronger, and more informed people. I read the different posts, and its clear that we are as a race not exactly how we need to be. Free was my fave because she used to be so FIERCE!! Her outfits were cute and stylish and her shoes were THE. BEST.

I looked at the credits following 106 the other day, and noticed that they have Julissa’s corny ass in Steve Madden and other inexpensive brands, which leads me to believe that the ratings have fallen all the way off for 106 ever since her departure (hence, budget cuts; hence, Steve Madden in lieu of Manolo Blahniks)
