It’s about damn time Isaiah Washington made the list. He was such a good actor in “Clockers (a Spike Lee Joint)” starring as Mekhi Phifer’s harding working brother.

@Yummie, I’m not saying you have to live your life trying to meet anyone elses standards, but like an alcoholic/drug addict, you have to admit that you have a problem and anyone living in America today would be lying to themselves if they couldn’t admit to themselves that there IS a standard. and if you are darkskinned, you don’t measure up to that standard. Knowledge is power, you have to be aware to effectively fight anything. Realizing that you don’t hate Beyonce, but that you hate the standard she represents will do more for you than bitching about her fake hair and how much make up she wears.

That’s not the f-ing point. Black and white are the very limited descriptions. The world is not black and white. we are not all one or the other. we are who we are. she is who is is. why does that have to be black or white to be legitimate?

Ofcourse their is a standard, but on all levels there is a standard not just that black skin don’t measure up to light skin. That light skinned dark skinned thing is prepetual in the black community. Why shouldn’t white people make you feel like crap about it when we define ourselves with it?
BLACK people relate that standard to each other that is why its so easy for them (the media) to throw it in our faces all the time. When I see Beyonce I can go wayyyyyyyyy beyond her physical and I do. I don’t care that her skin is light or that she wears weaves or that white people buy her records.

“When I see Beyonce I can go wayyyyyyyyy beyond her physical and I do. I don’t care that her skin is light or that she wears weaves or that white people buy her records.” …
Well I’m happy for you if you are “enlightened” and “self actualized” and are immune to the issue of race/color, but plenty of people are not.
The fact is you don’t have to like Beyonce as an artist. And if you do, there’s nothing wrong with that either. It doesn’t prove or disprove anything about your mental health/state regarding race/racism.
I find it very interesting and kinda sad when people say things like “BLACK people relate that standard to each other that is why its so easy for them (the media) to throw it in our faces all the time.”
In my opinion, yes we are responsible for some of the hurt we inflict on ourselves but it’s not realistic to expect black people to “overcome” racism and not be struggling with racial issues a mere couple of decades after the civil rights movement. There is an underlying reason why we are “relating that standard to ourselves” that has nothing to do with us and doesn’t indicate that we are somehow inferior or weak-minded people who can’t stop obsessing over a desire to be white. Color is something we will struggle with for some time to come. We might do it to ourselves, but that is a symptom and not the actual disease.

For those of you who keep harping on how much makeup Beyonce has on in her pictures, there are just as many pictures on her website, in magazines and other websites in which she has on no makeup at all, and she is still beautiful, naturally. Who this particular magazine chooses to name as “beautiful” people is relative to their definition of the word.
‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’, and I’m sure we all look in the mirror and think to ourselves, “I’m the most beautiful woman/man in the world”. If you don’t, then maybe you don’t feel too good about yourself and ya need to work on that!!

The fact is that a lot of us can’t stop obessing over the desire to be white. Why you think it is always an issue when we are in these blogs? Every single time I hear Oprah or Tyra talk about the black issues that white people don’t have a clue about they always say “I know this is a black thing so you guys may not understand.” The truth is that you have to get your own house in order, than your community, than start fighting off the BIGGER STANDARDS but it starts in the home plain in simple.
Also I was with you with # 68 but then you lost me a little. I feel with you are saying don’t get me wrong but the obvious is the obvious.

People magazine appeals to middle White America, so their list will reflect folks who they can identify with, people they see on an everyday basis. Isaiah Washington just so happens to be on a hit show..so they now know who he is. He’s fine, has always been fine with or without dreds and he’s married to a beautiful bald black sista. Not to mention he’s a talented actor who’s been slept on for many years. Maybe this will get him the attention he deserves.
Terrence is fine..light or not. He exudes sexiness and class..grown man sexy, people confuse with gay. Most women wouldn’t know a gay man if he hit her in the face with his purse because they are so inclined to believe that any man not wearing saggy pants, ball caps, and Timbs is gay.
Essence Magazine or any other black mag should issue a 50 Sexiest People issue to reflect whe we as AA think of as sexy. But we also must remember there is no such thing as “sexiest person alive”. Beauty is subjective, everyone will not think the same way. For instance, I am not sold on Beyonce (don’t even like saying the name, it’s like word vomit) is the sexiest representation of the black female, but again it’s all subjective.
Sorry for the long post yall. hehe

I really don’t have a problem with the black folks they picked this year, it’s just the number of black folks they picked that makes me upset. What about all the other black celebrities that are successful, beautiful? What about the ones that do tons of charitable things for the world ? Why the hell aren’t they in the magazine? Don’t get me wrong I have thought Terrance Howard was fine since I seen him in The Best Man but I haven’t heard about shit he has done for humanity. I don’t see him donating any procedes from Hustle and Flow to the hungry kids in Africa.

>>>Where in the hell is Mariah Carey?
>>>Now THAT chick was everywhere this past year and a half, but yet, Beyonce, who has done nothing this year (that is out) is in it.
@ MiSS:
Ummm, aesthetically speaking, Mariah is not a very attractive woman. Her facial bone structure is terrible and her face has NO distinctive features. BLACK people think she’s good-looking, but I suspect that is **only** because she’s light-skinned with “good hair”. Plus, she’s SO tacky and completely devoid of class. So I can see her not making the list (or even being considered).
And if you remember, Bee had a hit number one single and the number one movie in the country at the same time. And hey, the girl has good bone structure and distinctive facial features (specifically, the eyes). She will be a list regular, like Halle or Julia Roberts.
And people, seriously! Surely y’all noticed that you only viewed 16 pics, right? So obviously that’s not the entire list. No need to freak out and get offended, of course there are more than 3 black people on the list and of course Halle Berry is on it.
(I am not the same “GINGER” who posts in all caps, in case you were wondering. I’m a Concrete Loop vet and I think she’s a newbie)

It’s ridiculous to me how both Angelina Jolie and Beyonce made the list and both of those bitches had plastic surgery on their noses and other places. Check out http://www.celebrityplasticpics.com and you will all see the truth about this industry.
…And that’s exactly why I can’t stand that bitch Beyonce. That statement about ‘ppl respecting her more if she was ugly’ was the most ignorant and phony statement I have ever heard. When Destiny’s Child came out none of the ppl I knew were fussing over Beyonce’s looks, but the minute the bitch gets shit done, she startes feeling herself. You never here Halle Berry talking about how beautiful she thinks she is because she knows that she paid money for her looks. Beyonce fronts like she is the baddest bitch out with her fake ass face, when in reality she is an overweight light skin black girl with nappy short hair, a bad weave, and a big ass nose. She should be doing her job as a celebrity to help black girls with self esteems.
Did anyone see the VH1 special about Beyonce when her family claimed everybody was hating on her because she was light skin with blond hair or some bullshit like that…These ppl claim to be so religious but they are superficial liars. I hate the way the industry brainwashes our minds and makes us feel like only a certain ‘look’ is beautiful. The only black girls that make the list are the fake hair, fake nose, light skin hoes…
Before anybody claims I’m hating, I am the stereotypical pretty black girl. However, the industry should offend us all…I am a dominican woman aka BLACK woman and the women in my family range from high yellow to dark mohagony, but are all equally the most BEAUTIFUL women in the world…not these fake ass singers and actresses. When are black people going to come together and speak volumes to the masses.

^You got that right^, I actually used to think Halle Berry was a natural beauty until I saw the pics on http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com. She was pretty to begin with but I guess not enough or so she thought.

IQ, don’t you agree that Halle Berry was even prettier before the plastic suregery? She was stunning with her round nose and that is why she is a beautiful woman… Halle Berry’s issue is that she probably compared herself to all those white girls and figured that she would look better with a skinny nose…Yet, I think she is a natural beauty!
People check outwww.awfulplasticsurgery.com.Before the nose job Beyonce was not all that cute, sorry to say it! She was not ugly, but she was average looking. The rhinoplasty made her look more ‘European’ and she is fronting so hard!!! It’s funny to me! It looks like she had an eye lift and her lips reduced…On another site, you can tell she had breast implants, and a serious tummy tuck. You know, if she had a nice attitude than she could rock the plastic surgery thing, but she is too cocky for someone with so much work.
Look at Angelina Jolie too people. She had some nose work done and lip injections to add to her already full lips…

I agree that light complexion African Americans will get more noticed than dark complexion. Beyonce has had too much publicity over the past few years. But I guess that is a plus in Hollywood if you are light complexion. Here is my suggestion for the list they (People Magazine)should have included:
Gabrielle Union
Angela Bassett
Queen Latifah (big is beautiful people so whatever)
Mo’nique
Kenya Moore
Morris Chestnut
Boris Kodojoe
Blair Underwood
Djimon Hounsou
Feel free to add others that I might have left because I cant think of their names! LOL

@ Stephanie:
I’m not gonna say you’re hating, but all that serious “dislike” seems a little strange to me.
Did you know that on awfulplasticsurgery.com, they allege that Kelly Rowland had a nosejob as well? Neither she nor Beyonce has actually had one, tho. The website is speculative, based on the pics. And in pics, from some angles, a person’s nose may look different than from another angle.
Nor does Angelina Jolie have collagen lip injections. There are pics floating around the Internet of a J.C. Penney ad she did when she was about 13 or so, and she had those very same lips. She, however, HAS had a nose job.
As for Beyonce and Kelly, all I can say is that I saw the videos of them rehearsing as young teenagers, and their facial features look the same. So either they had their surgeries at unethically young ages, or they haven’t had surgery at all.
Anyways, why all the snark relative to Beyonce? All Hollywood people have tons of help make them look beautiful and glamourous. She’s no exception. So, what’s the big deal?
I think Beyonce is a beautiful woman, as is Gabrielle Union, Nia Long, Halle Berry and countless others. Black women come in all shades of beauty that should be appreciated on both ends of the spectrum.

That site is sooooo stupid. There is a big disclaimer at the beginning of it. Anyways am I the only one that don’t care about how much plastic surgery Beyonce or Kelly or Angelina had (or didn’t.) First of all we are all speculating. If it is not obvious to me ie: Lil Kim (pray for her instead of talking shit about her) then I don’t have shit to say cause I wasn’t with them in the doctors office.

I could care less about looking at a bunch of pictures and scrutinizing the way a person looks, etc. My message was clear: I wish a lot of ppl see what the media does to the self esteems of YOUNG WOMEN who feel the need to have long hair or light skin. I wanted to speak on behalf of women everywhere.
As far as the hating is concerned, I was gong to post a picture of myself and decided not to for many reasons: One, reason being because my message has absolutely NOTHING to do with how I look or how Beyonce looks. I quoted what she said, which in fact, justified what I said. The chick said that because she was “BEAUTIFUL” nobody took her seriously, but than she had plastic surgery to make herself more appealing visually. Why glorify that? The chick was dissing every woman out there that does not fit the “stereotypical” pretty black girl like Mary J Blige, Fantasia, Gabrielle Union…if not you, look at your mothers or aunts or grandmothers…What she said was FUCKED UP! Two, I wanted to post my picture so that Yummy and Ginger would shut the fuck up. On a serious note, I’m sure I look better than both of you as far as beauty is concerned in America. Beyonce included. And yes I’ve worked in the industry before, and I see how us black women get treated.
Ginger, the picture posted was of Beyonce and nobody else. That is why I spoke about HER. Have you had plastic surgery? Why do you advocate changing what god gave you??? Matter fact, don’t answer that. I could care less what you’re opinion is…And Kelly DID have plastic surgery as well but I didn’t bother mentioning her because she was irrelevant.
Yummie, if you have eyes that are working, a disclaimer and all that other shit does not matter. LOOK AT THE PICTURE STUPID. Look at yourself in relevance to that picture as well. Have you ever felt ugly or another black woman you’ve known felt like you were not light enough or cute enough? Do you look anything like the Black girls in the Magazines? Do you wear a weave and front like that’s your hair? Do you date light skin black men with good hair? Are you content with being with a man who is cheating on you? Have you always felt that because you did not have ‘the look’ that you should be extra smart and use BIG words so that you could be accepted in one way or another? That picture says exactly what us EDUCATED women have been saying for a long time…it represents the way black women feel about ourselves in general but mask with promiscuity, ridicle, hate, envy…Even the famous ones!
You act like because Beyonce is famous that her shit don’t stank. I’m just saying that when you are blessed with all that money, talent, parents, support…you have a greater responsibility. It is not JUST about the plastic surgery. I have a little 8 year old sister who is ashamed of how dark she is just because she is smart enough to have gotten the message that has been sent out. She saw Beyonce on VH1 and told me that she wanted to be light skin like me and Beyonce so that ppl would be jealous of her. I asked her why and she associated jealousy with power like a lot of ppl do…The same reason why a lot of the women on this site use the word HATER so freely. Just because Beyonce was on the list of most beautiful ppl does not mean she is more beautiful then me or that I am a hater. I graduate from college next year, I’ve acquired wonderful things, knowledge, and a strong spirit…I just wanted to give some truth! I’m sorry you perceived it as otherwise.

Just to let you know as we get older our looks change when we wear make up our looks change.Sweetie when Beyonce and Halle take off of the make up they look like they use to just a little older and a little more mature. You might be the typical pretty girl but you act like you don’t want them to be as pretty or prettier than you.Jealousy is a dangerous thing.
I understand that we all have our opinion and I respect that, but respect my opinion also when I say this:
NONE of us know what these women did to their faces or bodies(except lil kim) but she doesn’t count because she told us as much.SO what makes you think you KNOW what they have done to themselves?Did you do it to them? Were you there when it happened?Stop trying to make everyone agree with you and then when they don’t you call yourself snapping on everyone?

> The Media Missed this one!!!!
>
> Subject: Denzel Washington, and Brooks Army Medical Center Don’t know whether you heard about this
but Denzel Washington and his family visited
the troops at Brook Army Medical Center, in
San Antonio,Texas (BAMC) the other day. This
is where soldiers who have been evacuated from
Germany come to be hospitalized in the United
States, especially burn victims. There are some
buildings there called Fisher Houses. The Fisher
House is a Hotel where soldiers’ families can stay,
for little or no charge, while their soldier is
> staying in the Hospital. BAMC has quite a few of these houses on base, but as you can imagine, they are almost filled most of the time.
While Denzel Washington was visiting BAMC, they gave
him a tour of one of the Fisher Houses. He asked how
much one of them would cost to build. He took his
check book out and wrote a check for the full amount right there on the spot. The soldiers overseas were amazed to hear this story and want to get the word out to the American public, because it warmed their hearts to hear it.
GREAT JOB DENZEL!!!

@ Stephanie:
You’re about to graduate from college, and you’re this immature? I was nothing but courteous to you in my post, and you’re telling me to “shut the fuck up”? You show off the fact that you have little intelligence and no real argument when you respond like that. Just thought I’d let you know.
As for your little sister, that’s sad, but that’s not Beyonce’s fault and you need to stop blaming her. It’s not like she asked to be born a light-skinned black woman. So what, she should have foregone using her talents to become famous because she’s light-skinned and just happens to be beautiful?
I’m dark-skinned and I grew up in the 80’s, when it was REALLY frowned upon (my people were going thru some issues back then). I got called “black and ugly” occasionally as a child, but it never meant anything to me because when I looked in the mirror, although I didn’t look like Vanessa Williams, I liked what I saw quite a bit. That was from upbringing.
My mom taught me to recognize the beauty in my ethnic features, and I actually felt sorry for the people who would call me “black and ugly” (like they are synonyms!) because that meant that they had swallowed their conditioning whole. I considered them weak-minded, and I still do.
Oh, and reading is fundamental, sugar. I never said I advocated people “changing what God gave them” (I consider plastic surgery to be a personal choice that is not my concern). I was challenging your assertion that Beyonce had plastic surgery at all. I think you want to believe that she did because that would make you feel better about yourself. The fact that you constantly assert that your “good-looking” or “better-looking” than other people is indicative of the fact that you are insecure and trying to reassure yourself.
That’ll never work. All you will do is go around being resentful of women that you think are more beautiful than you and looking for ways to criticize them. You need to work on building up your self-esteem, and that will enable you to see the beauty in others.
Good luck, sista.

The magazine had a mix of people- Indian, Mexican, Chinese and even a bit of Native American! I counted about 4/5 different races!!! I bet you wont see other cultures wasting their time hung up on such a trivial list. I think this list was just counting the biggest earners/most publisized of this year so it really is just a bit of nonsense. Coz some of their picks were wack.

I think Beyonces represents nothing but an agenda that is used to foster low self esteem and self loathing in young black women especially young dark skinned black women. It’s not Beyonces fault that she’s a tool in the machine, but I guarantee you that I will not have my daughter gyrating and jiggling to her ignorant music.
She annoys me. Typical superficial, vain selfish entertainer with no ideas of how to do change the way media can affect the image of our brothers and sisters. Just another mulatto looking chick with nothing to say or contribute to anything but her own pocket. I guess it is unfair of me to expect such a small mind to think large thoughts. It saddens me that we always can notice how cute someone is but never measure the quality of who they are and their affect on the world.
If my daughter is listening to any light skinned black chick you best believe it will be Angela Davis. She makes my list for one of the most beautiful people of all time.
I guess we cant all be Coretta or Martin or Marcus of John Henrik Clarke…

@ m clarke^^^^^^^^^^Get over it! It’s not her fault but she annonys you? You don’t know these people personally or what they contribute to young girls. I’m sure that she gets as much hate mail than she does inspirational mail. She gives confidence to young women just as much as some people despise her. You will never be able to satisfy everybody.
I for one could use less of her but also everybody else whose not contributing to black women. There is a long list of celebrities, light skinned, dark skinned and everything in between that are guilty. It’s not just her she just gets the blunt of it which is sad. Be fair.
Classes start so IG2G will finish this later. peace

I give them props for being talented, but I don’t think Terrence is sexy or beautiful. Beyonce is very attractive, but I feel she is overrated and overexposed. I’m not feeling the hair or makeup in that pic. The brother from Grey’ Anatomy is just OK in my opinion.

i agree with #49 and #116! not only about the number of blacks on the list but also the non -inclusion of puerto ricans, latinos, etc. because they are part of the black race too ! and i would have liked to have seen more of our darker brothas and sistas other than denzel and halle like morris chestnut, taye diggs, gabrielle union, and sum of our other black folks like maxwell and wilmer valderrama!

These lists are rediculous. We could make our own list of blacks and blow this list away. I mean, what about people like, Victoria Rowell, Christoph St. John, Tamara Tunie, Khandi Alexander,Sannaa Latham, Gabrielle Union, Morris Chestnut,Mellisa De Sousa, Vanessa Williams (both of them). We could be here all night. These so called “lists” need a little flava.

B is very beautiful. I cant knock that, but she is not the only bad bitch in HollyWood. But it is true that if you light skin that u get way much more airtime. Why? Because we live in a white man’s world and thats true shit. People believe that if your lightskin w/ silky hair that your beautiful, which is not true, dark skin sistah;s are beautiful . (My mother is a perfect example)Im half white, and my daddy put me on that shit long ago. But it’s up to us to change that shit, feel me?

Sure BEYONCE is ATTRACTIVE (beautiful) is a bit too much props for her in my opinion. THIS LIST IS “MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE” INNER BEAUTY PLAYS A BIG PART IN WHO IS PICKED FOR THE LIST. (BEYONCE HAS clawed, scratched, hated on & kicked folks in the head when they were down— just to get where she is TODAY-& that some of which was her own BAND MEMBERS–REMEMBER THAT?) SHE IS NOT “BEAUTIFUL”.
HER SMILE DOES SEEM “FORCED”—that’s because she does it for the “CAMERAS” (keeping up appearances for the damn poparatzzi). SHE IS SICK OF JAY Z & his CHEATING. (I hear “lately” she been text messaging CAM’RON back & forth so PAY BACK IS A BITCH!!)
@ #56
“No matter what she does shes just beautiful”. You must have seen her without the WIG, & FULL FACE OF MAKE UP…huh??? You saw her out of the stillettos & evening gowns, & sexy outfits. did u smell her “morning breath”?–is that “beautiful” on BEYONCE first thang in the morning-does it smell like BLOSSOMS?–have you went in the bathroom behind her after she took a shit…WAIT-did that smell as ‘BEAUTIFUL” as roses?…LOL
DUDE said NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES…she is beautiful….be careful what you say man. JAY Z can answer those questions NOT YOU. thats a DEEP statement.
@#62
YOU MUST BE A “HUGE BEYONCE FAN”. you seem “OFFENDED that folks on this message blog LASH out @ “BEYONCE”. ITS NOT THAT WE ARE “HATERS”…or look any less PRETTY. (I think she looks “average” as well–the wigs & her FAIR/PALE complexion tend to alter her appearance a bit into the EXOTIC category)
I will be HONEST–WE JUST SICK & TIRED AS HELL OF “BEYONCE”–SHE IS “OVERDONE” & “OVER EXPOSED” (noone can DENY that).

I have been visiting this site for about 2- 3 months now and have cracked up at some of the posts. Some have been informative, stupid, polite, etc. After reading Ginger’s posts and a few others, I had to reply. Just because someone has lighter skin does not make them less black or less ethnic. People get over the internal racisim that has a strangle hold on our race. Of course, Hollywood is biased but do we need to fall into that trap too? I am a VERY light-skinned female and I find it offensive to be told I am any less black or I get all these so called advantages because of my skin tone. At the end of the day, to a white person, I am black PERIOD!

Agreed. There seems to be this on-going theory that if you’re a light skinned Black person, you’re not a “true” Black person. Now Light skin Black celebrities are being subjected to being the scapegoats of the blame for the “Light Skin Conspiracy” just for being light. Lol, as if they had a choice.
So it looks as if now, every [famous] light skin Black woman is going to be to insulted, name-called and bashed upon just for being light? Now listen. If you have a problem with the Media and Society, say THAT. But dont put it on THEM. Some posts [I've read] seem be trying to compliment dark-toned women, and that’s cool. But just bashing random innocent women of light complexions to do so is not the way to go about it, and wont solve anything in the end.
Its funny. If a “White looking” Black celebrity is proud of their race, all you hear is “Oh, she not Black enough to be all proud and what not, who she think she be!” and/or “She’s not even really Black, look at them blue eyes!” But let those same celebrities distance themselves from the Black community and all you hear is “Why is she frontin’ like she aint Black?! Yo momma Black too, you forgot?” and all that other nonsense LOL.

I have the People Magazine and Halle did make the list, so did Jamie Foxx, Chris Paul, a Kenyan Model named Emma Too, Amerie, Vanessa Willimas (& her daughters),& Alicia Keys. They didn’t make the list but they do mention Gabrielle, Queen Latifah, Kimberly Elise, Oprah, & Tina Turner in the Beauty at Every Age section.

THANKS! THAT LIST IS OKAY AFTER ALL-THEN…GABRIELLE, QUEEN LATIFAH, JAMIE FOXX, AMERIE, VANESSA WILLIAMS, KIMBERLY ELISE (thats what Im talkin’ about)…TINA TURNER…
OKAY all of those black folks & more I didn’t re-mention…ARE ON THE LIST TOO. THANKS #143.
IF THESE WERE THE ONLY 3…IT WOULD BE A SAAAAD DAY FOR BLACK FOLKS.
@ #142
WHAT IS A “TRUE” BLACK PERSON? DO you mean “REAL”?
You are correct in the since that in the eyes of SOCIETY, & THE LAW, IF YOU HAVE A “DROP” OF BLACK BLOOD IN YOU—YOU-ARE-BLACK! HOWEVER-LIGHTER SKINNED BLACK PEOPLE do get the “upperhand” (even in this day & age) over a DARKER SKINNED black- especially in the job market: corporate/secretarial/teaching/law etc…IT becomes this ISSUE of “WHO MAKES OUR WORK PLACE/LAW FIRM/OFFICE “LOOK BETTER”—sad but true
@ #132
ISAIAH WASHINGTON: Is a very great ACTOR (he’s been acting in movies & television shows for years—Wher you been?) He doesn’t get his deserves in the Entertainment Industry (GLAD to see he made this LIST). I SAID IT ONCE BEFORE…THE LIST HAS ALOT MORE TO DO WITH “INNER” BEAUTY than “OUTER” BEAUTY.

Nicole Kidman’s face is so tight, she always looks expressionless. I don’t get it, at all. But shit, I didn’t make up the list.
I am surprised Jamie Foxx, Kanye West, and Katie Holmes aren’t on the list since it seems to be a list of people you have seen too damn much this year. It is nonsense. Why the need to worship celebrities only to turn around and call them a has been a year later. 2 years ago I am sure Jennifer Anniston was on that list, now Angelina. Same with the stars on Sex in the City, now it is Desperate Housewives. Notice a trend. I hope these people enjoy the limelight, because the American public will love you love you, and then all of a sudden folks aren’t even taking your calls.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think Gabrielle Union is attractive, not beautiful. Great smile, and great skin, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say beautiful. I think Kenya Moore is beautiful. I have thought so for a long time even when I saw her win the Miss USA/America pagaent. There is difference between being attractive and beautiful. Iman is beautiful, Tyra is attractive. Terrence Howard is sexy, not beautiful. When I think of beautiful, I think of what kind of reaction I were to have if I met the person on the street. If I thought damnnnnnn!!!!! and thought about jumping the person’s bones. He or she is sexy. If I admired the person’s looks, I would find them attractive. If I found the person stunning, then they would be beautiful. I always said the most beautiful woman in the world is yet to be discovered. She is probably fetching water from a well somewhere in Africa or South America somewhere.
