I went on Google using the following search term:
Madonna on black men
After scrolling down the page a little, I found a Jet Magazine article where Madonna gives her own black rage theory on black men. I would have posted the web address here, but it is rather long and weird, so I’ll just suggest to you, if you wanna see it for yourselves…Go to Google and enter the very same Search Term I did, again the aforementioned: madonna on black men
PS-The Google and Yahoo search engines, perhaps intentioanlly, have not made it easy to find these Madonna quotes, but I have now found two different articles including the one that I talked about in my other posts…see Google search term (madonna on black men) for the Jet Magazine article…or link on the other article at answers in genesis.org …click on the link below, and scroll down to the rectangular gray box on the right side of your computer screen:
Kinda off of the subject, Clear Channel Music has some great HD Channels that are all commercial free and free. Here is a link; they are great for listening to at work:
@ VA Madam. I just checked out that Chicago old school hip hop and it is……off da chain!!! Thank you! I am from Chicago so it is making me feel right at home!
Sean Paul is cool…real cool!!! But Christina Milian? I heard the CD sampler 4 her new album and it sucks…bad!!! Surely, her record label could have done better then that for her!!! Now, the reason I was off topic on Madonna is simple, how many times have we have seen material on Sean Paul and Ms. Milian that is, well, of no major import???
However, when it comes to the subject of this xenophobic love/hate fascination white artists, and people in general, have with our culture…now that’s a story!!! Black people are treated like abused wives by these whites, who love us in the bedroom or for our cultural ingenuity…but turn around and try to tear us down when they perceive us as a competitive threat!!!
Off topic or not, it’s a subject that you need to investigate!!!
S Peezy! yuh outfit ROUGH!…it HAAAAARRDDDD!…big up to my fellow yardie! whaddup my yute!…keepin di temperature inna di place!…luv me some him!!!. Chris is just a very beautiful girl and sexy, she looks nice here and no she don’t look like the Beautiful RiRi…lol
Christina is so beautiful, what I love most about her is she is so light skinned, I’m so glad she is not dark because we all know dark skin folks are ugly. She is so petite…her long beautiful hair is so lovely…so glad she doesn’t have short African hair. Bow down and worship her.
We may not say it in words..but that is what we mean…admit it!
Terri, your sarcasm is interesting!!! I’m surprised that this site hasn’t removed your comments as they did with mine yesterday morning!!! Although I disagree with you that all black people like a girl like Christina because she is light in complexion, and damn near white…I do, however, acknowledge that there are elements out there that discriminate against dark skinned blacks…and that’s a shame!!! But this goes both ways!!! Blacks who are dark in complexion often have a problem with light skinned blacks, especially back east…and that is equally shameful…as we need to learn to stick together as a people!!!
Regardless, I appreciate your right to speak your truth…or at least, a part of it!!! Thank goodness that some people, like me, still believe in the absolute right to one’s freedom of speech!!! Even though I think Madonna’s comments about race are vulgar and wrong…(which I have criticized her on)I leave it up to the public to judge her with their wallets…instead of, say, trying to edit out her view points…I want to open up those comments (she made) for the purposes of discussion, to cause people of all colors to think about the damage they do to others with their personal conduct!
As for blacks who prefer those of our community with light complexions, these are self hating black people who have been taught to hate themselves by the residing, and still ruling, slave masters…and let there be no mistake, as long as the system is still rigged to hold us down as a people, trust me, we are still slaves and AmeriKKKa is the plantation!!! That is why people like Madonna feel so free to say racist things with complete impunity!!!
For those who have yet to see those comments…go to Google, and use the following search term: madonna on black men
Scroll down to the Jet Magazine article and click on the link!!!
#25, Omen: U are right when u say: “But this goes both ways!!!”
It is so true that America including our Black Folk worship skin and hair. But at the same time, can u imagine how incredibly uncomfortable it is for a light skinned AA to get hate from their OWN people? Light worship is just as bad as dark worship because hate is hate.
I associate myself with someone based on how THEY see themselves. If they on some I am Spanish, French, Jewish, Italian, Asain and a very little bit of Black on my estranged father’s sister’s mother side..THen I press on. Otherwise, they cool with me.
Both this, and the Jet Magazine article mentioned above, demonstraite a pattern of unconscious, if not…knowingly conscious racial insensitivity!!!

“Christina is so beautiful, what I love most about her is she is so light skinned, I’m so glad she is not dark because we all know dark skin folks are ugly. She is so petite…her long beautiful hair is so lovely…so glad she doesn’t have short African hair. Bow down and worship her.”
“We may not say it in words..but that is what we mean…admit it!”
Although, I agree that we as people “black, white, brown, beige etc” are very color struck..I really don’t think because Christina is black we are saying she is beautiful. I think we are saying it well…becuase she is beautiful. No one, made these comments about Kelly Rowland. We all commented on how beautiful she was in those pictures. Is it because she is dark? No, it is because she looked stunning. They both look fabulous. So yes, I agree with the color struck thing but it would be different if we did not give big ups to both sides of the color spectrum….WE LOVE THEM ALL! I thank God for making us such a diverse and beautiful people!!! Yippie!
Remember what I said about experiencing problems with search engines like Google and Yahoo in my attempts to reference the aforementioned racist comments attributed to Madonna? Well, it is starting to look like my suspicions were right…somebody doesn’t want you to be able to find that particular article!!!
If you recall, I gave you the search term: madonna on black men
Well, again, if you go to Google and type in that search term, it will display the Jet Magazine article as I have said. The problem however, comes when you try to search for the source material that carries the original notorious quotes made by Madonna…which according to Jet Magazine, are found in a Spin Magazine interview of Madonna within the pages of the January 1996 issue. After performing exhaustive searches on Google, Yahoo, Yahoo Uk, and Ask Jeeves,
I have only found only passing references to the Madonna article and or the issue…but strangely,
I can not manage to get an address or link to the article!!!
This just simply can’t be an accident. Somebody very powerful, perhaps Madonna herself, is trying their
damn best to erase this infamous interview from existance!!!
Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou Omen, Simply Lovely, Kindanice, and T for turning that into a positive thing… and I couldn’t agree more - especially to comment #30. You were on point!
i still don’t think christina has really found her niche in music..it always seem as though she’s almost got it but something is always missing…the fact that her look imitates so many others doesn’t help either..however she’s still talented and I hope one day she can make music that is appreciated..she has what it takes to be a bigger star she might have to deal w/a better camp of people..as for sean paul..his longevity in this fickle business when it comes to reggae speaks for itself
@ daredd1, I totally agree with you on Christina…something always seems to be missing. Personally, I’ve always loved her better with dark hair. Christina needs to find her own style, she’s been in this industry way too long to still be considered a copycat after all these years. Something needs to be done. As for the Nick Cannon thing, she’s an artist so she’s gonna talk about what directly touches her happy and sad things period. We don’t know if in his next album Nick won’t talk about it (is anyone a fan of him as a rapper anyway?). At the end of the day, I’m glad she got rid of him, I don’t know what she saw in that scum. She looks real good in these pics but as I said I prefer her with dark hair.
Sean Paul, I don’t have much to say. Saw him in concert, he’s not a good performer at all. But he’s doing his thang so more power to him.
daredd1 - my opinion on Nick/Chris wasnt an attack to you, I was speaking in general on those who blame her not to you directly, don’t want no misunderstandings
@daredd1, I was leaving this post to go the next cause it was all over the place and then I read your #36. That’s how I feel in a nutshell. I really hope she finds her niche soon cause she’s sooo overdue.
“Although, I agree that we as people “black, white, brown, beige etc” are very color struck..I really don’t think because Christina is black we are saying she is beautiful. THANK YOU!
Christina Milian = pretty (period)
Her talent may be questionable, but that is beside the point. I’m tired of seeing so much hate towards people of light complexion on this site. Not every light-skinned, skinny, blonde-haired woman is evil. Get over it!
As a light-skinned girl with what may be classified as “white” features, I find it offensive to see comments like
“Christina is so beautiful, what I love most about her is she is so light skinned, I’m so glad she is not dark because we all know dark skin folks are ugly. She is so petite…her long beautiful hair is so lovely…so glad she doesn’t have short African hair. Bow down and worship her.
We may not say it in words..but that is what we mean…admit it!”
I’m not denying the fact that some people do think that way, and it is indeed sad… but that does not
mean we all mean that when we say Christina Milian, or any other light-skinned woman is beautiful!
Black, White, Brown, Yellow… We are all beautiful!
WHY DO PEOPLE CONTINUE TO CALL HER LIGHT SKINNED LIKE SHE IS BLACK…SHE IS CUBAN PEOPLE…EVEN THOUGH WE ALL KNOW THAT THERE ALL LATINOS WITH DARKER SKIN AND COARSE HAIR..SHE IS STILL NOT AFRICAN AMERICAN..QUIT BEING IGNORANT…THIS IS WHY BLACK PEOPLE ARE JUST CRABS IN A BUCKET!!!!!!!!!!
I was just about to say that exact same thing Shaun!!!!
Christina isn’t black. She’s Cuban. Latino a mixture of white (spanish), Indigenous Indians and possibly some black. I thought it was funny that people kept calling her light skin as if she was African or African-American. She’s neither.
@ Shaun & the Mac: So only black people have light and dark skin? If I am not mistaken no matter what nationality you are rather it be African-American, Caucasian, Indian, Cuban, Jamaican, Australian etc your skin can be dark or light? I could be wrong so correct me if this is the case. I personally did not know she was Cuban but regardless of what nationality she is her skin is light…that does not make her worse or better but that is just the truth. Although, Eva Longoria (sp) is not of the African-American decent she has discussed the torment that she received growing up having darker skin. Once again I could be wrong but if I am not mistaken when our caucasian brother’s and sisters get tan they say they have darker skin. I could be wrong so please bare with me.
um actually she calls herself afro-cuban and that was in an article in “latino” mag….so mmmm shes claiming her african heritage also…”black” cause she was born in maryland not cuba.
im dominican/korean ( pops is dominican/ moms is korean) but i refer myself to afro-dominican also if you didnt learn shit in your history lessons shaun u wouldnt understand the depths of it.
nuff said
im tired of people on here preaching shit about other races and not doing their research.
exactly what im sayin if you got some black in you, you r black is dominant im proud to be dominican and korean but if someone ask and i dont wanna get in depths wit it i say im black cause i am!
if u got black in you you is black
black culture is one of the most exciting cultures existing right now
so if you got any black in you you ought to be damn glad to have it
dominican…does not equal to african american..if your mom or dad is not african american you are not black(afro-anything)..!!! light skinned is a term black folks throw around…if u see a latin girl with light skin standing next to a light skinned black girl and someone said, “damn that light skinned chick is fine” u are gonna assume that he is talkin bout black girl…right?
Sexual choc…. black? dominican and korean?..ok…if black is what u wanna be…confusing to me..but ok..all ominicans i know consider themselves latin…but hey thats u boo..
christina looks, well tries to look like BEYONCE, there is only one, she’s an okay singer and being that, she will never go to far in this industry unless she be herself and show her true and unique beauty and self, dont imitate others dat much, yeah we like folks, but be urself dear, u got a lot to learn, get over nick, hell he’s gay, and skinny as hell too. u need to find a good man. u and ray j should become friends, become da new power couple, make duets and babies together okay.
I like Christina specially when she came out with “Dip it low’ not really feeling “Say I”, but she’s still doing her thing. Sean Paul is fine, that’s my baby.
Good looking people make me happy to be alive because im good looking and thats why me and sean paul got married yesterday…:)
Christina milian is a beautiful girl and I feel like her talent is just not as noticed because she’s being hated on all the time… No she isn’t a singer like mariah… But she has some vocals. give her some credit.
Christina Millian lOoks waaay better with Dark Hair and stood out more too… I don’t like her music enough to buy it but I don’t think it sucks either… I don’t ever see her being a big star in the music industry unfortunately, She’s like a Lil’ Jlo mixed wit a Lil Mya, with SPrinkles of Beyonce… But with all that there is still something missing…she’s a cute girl though and her acting skills are decent, maybe she should stick with that!
Sean PAul, he’s the shit for real, I love his style the way he dances all that… this CD is a banger too! I have never been a fan of reggae until I heard “Gimme the light” !
time to do something different with the hair Sean Paul or at least let someone else braid it, the cornrows look like Venus and Serena’s back in the day…..too thin like they belong on a little girl.
YOU ARE IGNORANT. What the fuck?? “Afro-Cuban”?? um NO.. BET Spring Bling go on limewire and look up the archives if needed be. HER EXACT WORDS ” I AM 100% CUBAN.” Julissa: Ay! A fellow Latina! Christina: *some spanish shit* dummy makin shit up. shes cuban. not black. point blank. period. end of story.

“Although, I agree that we as people “black, white, brown, beige etc” are very color struck..I really don’t think because Christina is black we are saying she is beautiful. Yippie!”

I could be wrong so please bare with me.

dominican…does not equal to african american..if your mom or dad is not african american you are not black(afro-anything)..!!! light skinned is a term black folks throw around…if u see a latin girl with light skin standing next to a light skinned black girl and someone said, “damn that light skinned chick is fine” u are gonna assume that he is talkin bout black girl…right?
