You can get a tight shapely butt by going to the gym and doing squats and lunges and the step mill. I should know, because when I first started working out I was appalled at just how flat my ass had gotten from sitting at a computer all day. Five months in and it’s definitely perkier… and I feel proud about the work I put in. Plastic surgery is no way to build self-esteem. Yes, it can improve your looks (Jennifer Lopez, Michelle Pfeffer, Paula Abdul, Nicole Richie) but it should always be “what did she get done? are you sure she got something done?” as opposed to (Li’l Kim, Vivica Fox, Nicolette Sheridan, Teri Hatcher) who you can tell so easily exactly what they did. Yes, sometimes you have to do what you have to do to make it in a competitive game esp. one all about presentation. But if you do it to enchance your sense of self, you’re doomed to a lifetime of insecurity.

I love me some countess vaughn, and I am looking forward to the day where she starts to seriously focus on the amazing voice that god has blessed her with. She can sing circles around Moesha any damn day.. I mean girl has an amazing voice.. Truth of the matter is she is naturally very top heavy. A lot of naturally top heavy women tend to have narrow hips with little to no waist definition, and a naturally flat bum. There are however the exceptions to the rule; women who are both top heavy and have waist definition and wide hips with a bum. Then of course you have your pears and your less curvy women. Truth of the matter is (my favorite phrase) not EVERY BLACK WOMAN HAS AN “ASS!” Look around you will see there are black women out there with various body types.

@MDK…I’m in the same boat…Because of my heritage (Black/Asian), I used to hate the fact that I had a flat booty. I thought it made me less “Black”. All my teenage years, I longed for a Trina booty, my momma had one (RIP), my sister has one, now even my daughter has one but I got skipped in the booty department.
