Former Power 105 radio host, Star, was arrested on charges of harassment and endangering the welfare of a child earlier today (May 12) for his threatening and outlandish remarks about rival DJ Envy’s 4-year-old daughter.
A law enforcement source told News Channel 4 that Troi Torain, aka Star, was taken into custody and transported to a police precinct in Lower Manhattan earlier today.
Though Star has issued an apology statement through his attorney, Benjamin Brafman, it wasn’t enough for him to escape the arrest. The Manhattan district attorney’s office and the New York Police Department’s Hate Crime Task Force launched an investigation due to Star’s on-air comments. (read more)
