Kelis – About to Hate Me (Guilty Girl) (full) – download
“Hate Me” is a really mellow track, not sure who it’s produced or written by. It surfaced on a mixtape, and even though I don’t think it’s single material, the groove of the track is really nice. Kelis obviously displays little to no vocal ability on the song, but her voice just floats so nicely over the beat. The rip isn’t CD quality, but it’s not bad.
Pussycat Dolls feat. Snoop Dogg – Buttons (full) – download
This is the PCD’s fourth (and last?) single from their debut album, and they’ve added Snoop Dogg to the mix. He doesn’t add or take away anything from the track, but really, what will get you hooked is the video to this song. I think this song’ll be hot this summer, I can definitely hear it in the clubs… guess the PCD’s have staying power, because it was around this time last year that “Don’t Cha” hit the airwaves and had everyone going crazy. Lea – Read My Mind (full) – download
Remember the chick from “Sunshine” by Lil’ Flip? Well, she’s working on her new album, and four tracks have leaked from her. “Read My Mind,” produced by the Corna Boyz is a pretty hot song, but sounds almost identical to their production for Q. Amey’s “Forever Girl.” Not sure what’s next for Lea, or what label she’s signed to, but I’m glad to see that intentions for her were more than being a hook girl. Peep her out on MySpace… everyone and they momma got one!

Atlanta’s booming this year, apparently. I had the pleasure of knowing this guy back in highschool, glad to see him signed to Blackground! “Forever Girl,” another track produced by the Corna Boyz shows of Q.’s voice very well. I prefer the version without Jazze Pha, but that’s not the single version, so I’ll just leave you with this one. This track definitely knocks, hopefully a sure feel-good hit for the summer. Rumors are circulating that Mr. Amey is in the process of shooting his new video. Big ups, Q! Check him out on MySpace or visit whataboutq.com for more information.

Some of the stuff you may have already heard, some you may not, but I’m just trying to make sure everyone hears the latest and greatest.
