Nas and Kelis look Bad!! In a good way. I love those two, they are such a fly couple! The Bet awards this year was lame and boring, last years show was better and Damon is so corny, he did not host at all! Despite the show’s unexcitment, beyonce was the best performance and she made all the other females on stage except chaka and yolanda Look Horrible! I’m not even a fan of beyonce but I’ll give her credit for this one.

Kelly looks absolutely wonderful. What’s with all the animal print dresses? Remy looks better than usual.

I’m mad at Beyonce for that mediocre performance. Why go through all the trouble of picking a new band and then perform to a backing track? She wasn’t live, the band wasn’t live…I thought the whole thing was a mess. And Jay STILL won’t even look at her when they perform together. What is that about?

#28, yeah, you might want to see it on TV. I’m not even sure what performance you’re talking about because I don’t think anybody lipsynched at all during the show, but if they did, you’re not going to be able to tell on youtube.

youtube 1) distorts the video a little bit 2) will have a bit of a delay since it’s digital, and low-quality at that. so you might wanna watch it on television the millions of times they’ll replay it just to be sure.

Okay I see what people were talking about I rewacthed B’s performance and she did lip the part were she went to the ground the Mic was away from her mouth but it stillsounded clear. As for the earlier parts of her performance I can’t really tell. All I know was that it was not live and she was singing (or lipping to backtracks.

As for the performance itself don’t really like the song so I may be biased.

The rest of the show was good Mary J had the best performance IMO and The Chaka Kahn performance was great also.

Wonderful show. Dang I had to turn whenever Damon did his lil skits. The guy is NOT funny. Sorry DW. As for Be, it was just okay. That performance was a recycled MTV Crazy in Love performance. Same concept, different song. Busta…oh my gawd I was excited! Even when Em came out I was still pumped. And I’m not a fan of Em’s. But that performance was H-O-T. Loved it and wish I could find it online. Great show, had its moments of ho-humness but otherwise, pretty entertaining.

Beyonce (If she didn’t lip synch, i don’t know, but she usually does [You really can tell when they do all the echo effects on her voice]) did a good job singing, other than that, her performance was a over dramatic Tina Turner imitation, like she’s been doing recently. The All female group she has helped distract you from realizing she did the same thing on her last performance to a different song….? Hip shake, hair shake, sing, repeat. Jay-Z rap —> hip shake, hair shake, sing.

Busta Rhymes performance was nice, although the DMX verse shoulda been cut out, that was disappointing since I liked his part on that song and he wasn’t THERE. Em made up for it though.

Chris Brown did a good job holding those notes that Usher can’t hold while dancing. (In otherwords, at least he actually sung most of his song instead of dancing it all away).

T.I’s performance woulda sucked even if the music didn’t cut off like 6 seconds into the performance.

Most “Rapper” performances are whack unless its hyped up and alot of people (like bustas) so P Diddy and Young Joc sucked also.

Puffy is too full of himself and sucked. Most of the Artist up front were too cool to dance to somebody else music, I could just look at the hate in their faces. Overall, the show was okay. Damon gets 2 snaps down and a circle, lol. Jamie and Fan Fan need to get a room with all that passion and sensuality. Keyshia needs to get a vocal coach immediately and learn breathing techniques. T.I. did well with the exception of the orchestra. Mary J. ripped it as usual, but she could have done better with the outfit. Prince is cute and I was waiting for him to turn around with his butt cheeks out. Chaka was good but I was suprised that Mary J. and Fantasia were not in the performance. Yolanda needs to put all of her heart into her gospel songs like she did that one. I did not like B’s perfomance it seemed as if she was throwing herself around, but she can sing.
