I think an all girls band is a great idea. Women helping woman, that’s what’s up. I just hope Matthew doesn’t hit on any body. On the last tour he was hitting on the dam dancers and Beyonce had to pay her hard earned money to get his ass out of trouble.

I think this is a great idea for Beyonce’s camp. Not only is it good promotion for the new album and tour, it gives the opportunity for young, female musicians to get their foot in the door. The winners will be on a tour that normally would have taken years of experience to be booked on. People have stated that they the winners will not really benefit from this for whatever reasons, but that is absurd. They will obviously be paid, gain experience playing in front of massive crowds, and have something HUGE to put on their resume.

Why is it that everytime something is posted about Beyonce there is so many negative comments. Buts its crazy because she gets the most COMMENTS. Anywho to all the people thinking she is looking for a music group shes not. She is LOOKING FOR A BAND, to play live with her. I think its a grat idea. Its hard for women to make it as musicians, (not pop singers). I got a tip that she would be using the legendary Sheila E on certain dates.

I guess she always does a “hunt” before she releases each solo album, last time it was dancers now it’s instrumentalists. When I saw Kanye on tour apart from his DJ, those that played all instruments on stage were women, so I don’t know why Beyonce’s people try to make it seem like a big deal.

I love Janet Jackson I really do but I have gotten to the point where I am so sick of her. Her style is so “same ol” and since she does not have a good voice she cannot do that much with her music so it all tends to sound alike. Well, my 2 cents as a newbie to the site is that this young woman has been holdin it down with her group and solo for almost 10 years now. For a girl like me who grew up playing instruments, I think this is one awesome way to help “Save the Music” and our young sistas who need to know they can do anything and Beyonce is in the position to use her starpower to move that message along. I hope that if one or all of us blow up like her we can figure out a way to give back that means something…
