I think this is a nice spread on M.G (tasteful & more “Pretty” than “sexy” ), but I have to agree with Angry Black on the potential loss. She has failed to make an equally great impression like she did on Eve’s Bayou. Now her acting seems mediocre at best.
She needs to step her game up if she expects to be anything but a C-list black celebrity. We have an abundance of those already…

i agree with everyone who says she came out hard in “eve’s bayou” but kinda went downhill from there as far as her movie choices. she is a great actress and it would be refreshing to see her in quality Black films and not the usual stereotypical “urban” shit that Hollywood thinks is the only type of film we like to see. but with that being said, they may be right because thats why “akeelah and the bee” didnt do as well as “get rich or die tryin” or similar movies. but she’s still young and she’ll probably have her own production company or whatnot like nick cannon (they started out at about the same age and look at him now!)

Go see D.E.B.S. That’s a good movie. And I haven’t seen Brick yet, but I heard it was a very good movie. Kind of a noir film with teenage characters. She’s been doing other stuff, but no one goes to see those movies. I don’t blame her for doing those bad movies. They pay the rent.

She very pretty but I’m not impressed with the roles she has done. Hopefully she’ll get some quality roles and really get noticed by everyone and not just those of us that watch movies such as the ones that were listed above. We need more Black women to be big time in the industry.
