Two new hot tracks have just been leaked from OutKast’s brand new album, “Idlewild,” which will also double as the soundtrack for the long-anticipated movie release. “Morris Brown,” a song titled after the defunkted historically black university is Big Boi’s solo piece, featuring Purple Ribbon artist Scar and Sleep Brown and it seriously KNOCKS, while the funky “Idlewild Blue” is Andre 3000′s solo post. Rumoredly, the current single “The Mighty O” is the only song the duo has together on the album. Either way, I’m eager to here the greatness that these two have churned out.
The video for “Morris Brown” was recently shot in Los Angeles and should be out for release soon. I’ve heard some absolutely great things about the video, so be on the look-out. Also, check for the new VIBE, with OutKast on the cover.
