Roy Williams sat down with Vibe Vixen recently, to get the record straight on why he & Kelly Rowland broke up. He said he realized that they really didn’t know each other
“I sat her down on the bed and said, Kelly, we don’t know each other well enough to get married. At the time, she was cool with it, but I ended up catching a lot of heat for doing the grown-up thing.”
Eurweb reports that Kelly was embarrased by the whole situation. She told Vibe Vixen:
“I was so embarrassed. I didn’t even want to go out of the house and I really didn’t want to put my family in the position of having to answer questions about the wedding.”

Yeah Roy,
I was hoping we could hang out and we could get to know each. I like candlelight dinners, going to the theatre, church basketball, football and baseball games. Its so much more fun when you’re are actually at the game. Also, I love the basic things in life. Working hard, going to the movies and spending the rest of my time with my family.
Kelly will be blessed. And hopefully the guy will take care of his child in the event that one is involved or you better believe that God will handle that situation.
