How long was her sentence for? The prisons are overcrowded. Perjury should just require 2400 hours of community service or something. She lied and that’s a serious offense, but leave jail for serious criminals (armed robbers, thieves, murderers, child molesters, rapists, assault, etc.). It costs $45,000 to keep a person in prison per year. Why not save that money AND do good for the community as well?

Her sentence was for 1 year and a day so she is just getting out about a month early.
