i’ve never been a fan of ashanit’s music, but she has alot of personality, she’s a real round the way girl. she’s always entertaining in interviews and comfortable spaking…i can see how she’s transitioning into acting. maybe that will work out for her considering her music career is in need of a little 1st aid.

cassie, nice looking girl and she talks great on her records, but i don’t see this lasting long. when she first came out i immediatly thought of her as the next ciara, but i have to say ciara might have a lil’ more staying power. she’s no singer, but she’s a great dancer and she’s a hell of a lot of confidence when she’s onstage. i guess cassie will improve in time, but i don’t quite understand her need for a backing track…my cat can sing that monotone ass song!

I remember when I first saw Cassie’s video. I thought that she was going to set it off Janet Jackson style on “Pleasure Principle.” She looked like she was going to dance her ass off, in the dance studio stretching and what not. As the video progressed, I was thinking she must be about to rip it because she kept peeling off clothes to give the image of a real dancer. When the video ended, I felt kinda jipped. I thought that when you didn’t have a strong voice, you probably danced extremely well. The table routine went a little far.

The moment they started the show, they had technical difficulties (read: the recorded vocals weren’t ready yet) and she gave that nervous “omg somebody help me plz” laugh as they skipped to the #9 music snippet vid.
