Letoya – Obvious (full) – download
Letoya’s album has recently leaked, considering that it’s due out to hit stores next Tuesday, the 25th! This is one of the few songs that hadn’t leaked from the album. It’s really smooth, I like it a lot. It’s produced and written by Bryan-Michael Cox, who, by far, is one of my favorite writers and producers. He’s really been knocking out hits this year. Make sure you go out and grab Letoya’s debut album on Tuesdasy!
Megan Rochell – Floating (full) – download
Since Megan Rochell’s first single has dropped and the video is finally released, they’re gearing up for release of a second single. I’d posted this song before and I wasn’t really feeling it then, but I’ve kind of gotten into it a little. It’s nothing special or groundbreaking, I’m just digging the production and Megan’s voice sounds nice over it.
Mya – Ayo (full) – download
Mya is back in the studio getting ready to push out another album. Apparently, she’s been responding to a lot of beef with 50 Cent. She’s no longer with Interscope, but she’s working on pushing out another album. “Ayo” is supposedly a contender for first single. I personally don’t think that’s a good idea, I’m not sure how I feel about this song. I like the sample from “The Wiz” at the beginning, though. That’s kind of funny to me. But I’m not really feeling the song.
Sammie – Another Last Chance (snippet) – download
Another Sammie snippet. I will be completely honest and just tell you that, low key, I’m sort of excited about his album! His voice has matured a lot and I just love to see young, male R&B acts because it’s so lacking these days. There’s so much focus on new female artists for the past couple of years. I think that 2007 might be the year for male R&B. Hopefully the lack of play Sammie’s single has been getting won’t hurt his project too much.
