Tamia has always been bad, and slept on.

@ first i said im gonna go get the kelis album i don’t care etc etc, but after hearing some of these songs i might hav to rethink my decision. i believe she shude have continued to get her beats from pharrell, b/c i didnt like “till the wheels fall off” and some of the other songs i’ve herd from her new cd. i only hope that the rest of the cd will be better….

The Danity Kane song is produced by Timbaland, they showed him in the studio making the beat on one of the Making the Band episodes..This is one of the best songs I’ve heard from them so far..

I love “We Ride” by Rihanna… I actually heard that song this morinig on the radio and I was like ” oh this shit is hot” and then I listened closer just to find out that it’s my favorite artist Ri Ri!!! Yeah that’s the shit right there!!!

Kelis, well she’s bossy, different, and all that, and she completely loses me! I can certainly appreciate her individuality, but that alone doesn’t make me go into a store and purchse someone’s CD for $14.99… Not with these gas prices!!!

Tamia, well I have always wondered why Tamia just does not seem to connect with people enough to have a solid fan base, quite puzzling, she has the look, the voice, the whole package but for some reason she just can’t connect… I think it has something to do with the what the fuck are you factor… Look at people like C. MIllian, Tamia, and Mya, all with so called “good hair”, and bodies to kill for, are they too unaccessible to the average African American Female? Can we just not relate to them? I really want to know what it is about these three that just does not appeal to the masses??? Is it just that they have fucked up song choices, somebody help me on this one!

i love all the songs posted,the kelis track is from the step up soundtrack, not her album, but i still hope she has songs like this on it. and tamia needs to hurry up and release this album over here in the U.S.

i know i’m late as all wit my comment since i was able to download these tracks around 5 pm……but first i will say…brian…i live for these reviews but like everyone else said, this speedyshare thing is horrible…..and i know you’re reading this so some sort of response would be great! maybe yousendit doesn’t like having leaked songs being uploaded and maybe they’re prohibiting that privilige…it could be a number of things…but we’d all still like to know…

second i downloaded and listened to kelis, rhianna, and tamia first and then downloaded DK. the truth is…after i listened to DK’s song, i totally forgot about the others. this song actually moved me…which mainstream r&b hasn’t done in years…timbaland is really doing his thing this year (and yes that is his production, probably with some assistance from his new protege Danja and writing from either Jim Beanz or Keri Hilson or both). but Tim’s been doin it with Justin, Nelly Furtado, D.O.E. and now we got Danity Kane, JC Chasez, and Fergie on the way….it’s funny how he can turn these mostly pop acts into some of the most creative sounding people…but back to DK…..this song gives me chills…it’s the chord structure, the harmonies, the drums, everything….and even the subject matter…although typical….the writers flipped it so dopely (my word)!!!

i was really scared at first watching the show and hearing the scott storch songs…and that’s probly cuz i hate SS songs…they’re so basic….but after hearing the BMC tracks and the Rodney tracj…and now THIS TRACK….i’m sooooooooooooo ready for this album….and i’m really hopin that they can stick around for a second album….aiight i’m done…

i try to like kelis’s song, but i just can’t get pass her voice. it’s awful and she never gets called out on it, because she has that whole “alternative” thing going for herself, but her music is just no there. & I’m not saying that because it’s “different” becuase I listen to all types of music, but everything I’ve heard off of her upcoming album has been quite dissapointing. On a positive not however she looks great w/ the new haircut!

@ 27, you ain’t lying about the gas prices and they keep climbing. I feel like I’m a big truck driver with my v6 costing me a grip (> $55). About Tamia, her factor is she doesn’t sex it up and unfortunately “sex sells” I don’t think it has anything to do with her “what is she look” b/c A.Keys had no problem, if anything it helped her. Tamia is a great singer and can outblow most singers out now but what she may be lacking could be good PR and marketing. I hope she doesn’t change her image but her reps need to increase their efforts by 110%

I usually have negative things to say about Rihanna’s music, but I actually gave this new album a try and We ride is definitely a song I fell in love with…Great choice of singles Rihanna!

I like Tamia’s song. She is seriously slept on all the time. People need to realize that there are more female artists out in the world beside Beyonce wide ass; Ashanti no talent having ass; Rihanna big forehead ass and all these other no talent nobodies with contracts. Can we please stop looking at the big asses and nice faces and find some real talent.

Rihanna’s Album, I was definately excited for…and I love her choice of singles. SOS was the SHIT, Then Unfaithful….great. and now We Ride, I like it. It’s sad but I like it… I bet her next single will be her song with Sean Paul.

DK…I’m loving it, they’re stepping it up. I love the official version of Show Stoppers, and ONE SHOT was what really opened my eyes. This could be hot stuff they’re about to bring.
