There’s been soooo many opinions about this video thought I’d voice mine as well….okay to start off like some have said before if you don’t really follow REAL fashion(I’m not talkin about billboard tops and jeans either!) and couture clothing you wont get it BOTTOM LINE! I’m majoring in fashion design and as far as the outfits go I loved it, it was different creative and sumthin new other than the whole “rims,ice and booty shakin” concept which in my view is getting very OLD and TIRED…but anyway the dancin i will say is different something new again…I think the problem is that some people get so use to the typical female artist video (singing to the guy, crying , chasing him around, and looking pitiful) that they can’t put the mind around the fact sumone wants to do something different other than the “typical” video…Lastly Jay-z did look uninterested but hey maybe there was a reason for that…but anyway I like the song, the video is koo, and thats it.It’s something new and something that really isnt being done, some people shouldnt be soo set in their ways and open their mind up a lil be to accept something different .

I love beyonce and all..but that video is weird! and it doesnt make any sense! not that most videos make sense these days. nothing in that video (or the song for that matter) has anything to do with a de ja vous!….i dont really like that video..i dont like the song either.

I’m Beyonce’s biggest fan!… As much as I love her, I must say, I was disappointed in the video. I mean, here she is singing a hardcore dancing song, yet, throughtout most of the video she’s in slowmotion… and…. I just think the whole thing is tacky. It’s obvious she was modeling her clothing line (which is so expensive)…But by all means, her beauty and dancing talent is defintly highlighted in this video. She just needs a better concept.

This video was retarded…it may have been called African Dancing at the end but it looked like she was having a fit! There’s high fashion (couture) and then there’s a bunch of ugly clothes. Every outfit she had on was horrible. Trying to be like Jospehine Baker she couldn’t move that good if she tried. And there is no need to put Shakira’s name in this Beyonce couldn’t move like that if she wanted to. Shakira moves her hips without breaking a sweat. Beyonce sounds better than her that’s for sure. I am a Beyonce fan, but I hated this video. Why was she dancing so d**m hard. And why did she change clothes like 50 times. I am a big fan of videos that tell a story so this wasn’t doing it for me. First, let me say that I am a Jay-Z fan and I think Beyonce is talented. However, in the video, I think Beyonce cheapens herself by hanging on and grinding on Jay-Z. One thing Beyonce always had going for her is that she is classy. Whether or not you like her clothes, her hair or her make-up, I think most people can agree she is always ladylike, never trashy. I think her the way she is all over Jay-Z, and the fact that he seems indifferent duing all of her gyrations, makes the whole scene beneath her.
