Regarding Common, the sexiness is more about his personality and style than anything else. I think he’s handsome as hell but I’ve been following Common since his I Used to Lover HER days, when he was hella goofy, so it’s not even his looks that attract me. He’s just chill yet deep, and that’s sexy as hell for some women like me.

Now, despite his, um, looks, I used to really feel Jay like that too. But I guess I got a little turned off when he started to be open with his “relationship”. I liked it better when there was some mystery to him. Girl you know we (meaning people in general) are impossible to please! On one hand, we like the mystery of their relationship, but maybe people are starting to get bad vibes because it’s like, we are not getting any more than that. All we do is see them together, and a few comments here and there but we aren’t really seeing the genuiness that usually accompanies a relationship with time. And that’s not to say that it’s not there, maybe they just have chose not to really reveal it to us (yet)–and it’s been like 3-4 years! And as a result people start to doubt the “realness” of their relationship. Like I said, we are impossible to please! But I do agree that he is definitely good for Beyonce. I’m just happy to see a black woman with a man who has got his stuff together and something to offer. So many times you see these female stars who date men who are “beneath them” in some sense. But I guess it’s slim pickings for all of us! Star or no star! I’m not saying that because you are star you have to date one. But it seems that some of them date men who have little or nothing to offer financially, spiritually or even mentally. Bill, you are absolutely correct. I encountered so many of these Lesbian girls in high school that would just prey on innocent freshmen. I really have no problem with homosexuality, but I do have a problem with someone pushing up on young girls or boys fresh into high school. A lot of my friends started to question their sexuality after meeting these people, and ended up doing things they regretted.

Thank god my parents were there for me, and I was always sure of my sexuality. Too bad I can’t say the same for my other friends.
