I’ll post my review over the weekend. But yeah, didn’t get to meet Mary, and she was under tight wraps. They brought her out, everyone started screaming. She looked gorgeous there, just simple and elegant and fly with her sunglasses on. But in the photos, the shine totally came out, and she doesn’t look as pretty as she normally does. That actually makes me feel better because in my photo with Lisa Price, I’m all shiny too. =(

Mary looks bad. Every woman has an off day sometimes. Thank god the world doesn’t have to see any of bad days. But at a store that just sells beauty products, she should have been more on point.

She looks like a regular woman without makeup to me! LOL The problem is that most of y’all buy into air brushing, etc. so many of you have unrealistic views of celebrities and what they should or shouldn’t look like based upon what you’ve seen after photo shoots with professional make-up artist, photographers and retouchers to those photos at the end of the day.

You also have to take in account that your regular maybelline is nothing compared to “stage” make-up, which is very damaging to your skin, not to mention those lights that can wear on your skin sometimes worse than the sun does and make you twice your age in most cases.

I’m thinking that since Carol’s Daughter is a line of SKIN care products and not makeup, the POINT was to show her skin… and not show up with a lb of MAC on. CTFU
