I know that my post is a lil late but I had to comment on the whole Beyonce thing. Alot of people put Beyonce on a pedestal and if anyone else has an opposing comment we become haters. There is a way to defend yourself verbally without getting ghetto or making a fool of yourself. If someone disrespects your mother or any person close to you there are ways to express what you have to say without tarnishing your image. Beyonce is book smart, she is intelligent and a good business woman but there is nohing hood about her. If you portray yourself to be something that you are not in your songs then people are going to expect to see the person you claim to be instead of who you really are.
