I really like her she is a talented singer. She performed at the Gay Games last week and caught a lot of flack for it. Radio stations banned her from talking about her performance at the event and shit it was real lame. But she supports the gays anyway and she got a banging voice.

My dad use to have a crush on her. I was particular to Karyn White myself. They were always getting put against eachother back in the day. I heard White suppose to be having an album out too. Now that’s another slept on R&B artist!

Jody’s been in the club scene for the past 5 or ten years or so, so there’s a good bit of product out there for you to sample.

Her last album, Midnight Lounge, was released in 2002 and she released it on her own label. It’s considered a modern club classic for those of you who can get down with the soulhouse/lounge vibe.

As for surgery or not - why is it such a big deal? Hell, I am working alongside girls in my office half my age who get Botoxed to death during the lunch break…a tad excessive when you are only in your 20s and havent hit 40 (like me!)… Its their money to do what they want with.

she wa the first one to work with movie dirctors for her videos ( david fincher )
she worked with fashion photographers (steven meisel) and incoorprated her own personal style in her music and created an image which is inspiring other artists still in 2006!
she was and still is a hell of a singer and she can write the most amazing ballads i ever heard( check out desinys childs sweet sixteen and jodys all beginns with you )
