CBS asked host Jeff Probst how the players felt when they heard the news:
How did the new players react when they were told they would be divided by race?
Jeff: “The reaction was mixed. (Contestant) Yuhl wasn’t sure. Yuhl was concerned we were going to turn this into something that would show stereotypes and reinforce them,” Probst said. “On the other hand, you have people like Rebecca, who said, ‘I don’t really care how you divide it because I know that I need a certain amount of people to be on my side to help me get through this.’ Ultimately, to win this game, you’re voting people out that are then on the jury that have to come back and vote for you. So, the person who wins is actually going to do the best job of merging with all different ethnicities.” [SOURCE]

I’m really interested in how this is going to pan out; you know there is going to be some drama.

Right? @#3…I love Real World too, but it’s just too much of the same people on that bitch.
…I never watched Survivor, but I think I am going to have to watch how this cracker jack (no pun intended) show will pan out.

My question is what happened to the human race….CBS is wrong for this one. That’s the problem with this country, too damn focused on our differences than our similarites. But I guess I’m preaching to the choir on this one b/c racism is something white folks created. Damn, they crazy….have they no mercy on humanity?

AMERICA is fucked up. I was shocked when I found out that Survivor would split the teams by “race”. I have only wathched Survivor once and that was the first season. But like someone else said, this should have been thrown off the air several years ago. However, Im not sure if I will watch it or not. What I am really concerned about is if the show will play off the ridiculous stereotypes of all the races. White people never cease to amaze me. I know it was them who came up with this shitty-assed idea.

But I can’t even lie; regardless of whether I watch the show or not, I’m still rooting for Us!! (or any other team if they get kicked off) I HOPE THE WHITE TEAM LOSES. Y’all know if they win, it will just reinforce the false “superior” stereotype of the whites. But if the Blacks win, they will be the first to claim cheating and will want to sue, want compensation, etc. Crackers are crazy!
P.S. I know I “sound” ignorant as hell, but y’all know its true…
