I’m sorry it took me so long to post this song, but this have been really crazy around these parts. This is what I like to hear from Janet! I love her laid back, mellow tracks as much as I like her dance songs, but something about this to me is just different about the other material that we’ve heard from “20 Years Old.” I’m digging this song, it has a really nice groove and Janet’s voice floats over it really nicely.
Lyfe Jennings – Let’s Stay Together (full) – download
This is apparently the new Lyfe Jennings single. People were really digging his first single, S.E.X., from his new album, The Phoenix, because of the positive message to young girls. I can appreciate people singing about different things, when they’re conveying a message to a wide range of people. Can’t knock Lyfe; I’m not mad at him!
Justin Timberlake – Summer Love (full) – download
Another Timbaland-produced track from Justin Timberlake’s new album, FutureSex/LoveSounds. The whole album leaked recently, and I really enjoy it, but this is one of the songs that just happened to stick out to me. I love the production. Although I wish Justin had the oppurtunity to work with The Neptunes (I don’t know if you guys are familiar with the Justin Timberlake/Jive/Clipse/Pharrell drama), because I think that really would have completed the album.
One Chance – Don’t Stop (full) – download
More stuff from Usher’s group, One Chance leaking. Pretty generic-sounding male R&B group material. It sounds like something every other all-male R&B group has done. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I just want them to do something different, like the song that I posted earlier, “Issues.” Hopefully more of their material will be a little more innovative than this.
