Our girl Vivica A. Fox recently sat down with BET.COM to discuss, rather, not discuss those plastic surgery issues. They even mentioned gossip blogs on there. Here go a snippet:
BET.com: There are a lot of photos of you and other Black celebs on the recent crop of Black gossip blogs. Are you aware of any comments about the way you look and if so, how do you feel about it?
VF: I could care less. People are going to say what they want to say. I’m in the entertainment business, and they may prefer to be mean and cruel, but they’re entitled to their opinions. It’s life in a fishbowl. They love to build you up and break you down. It’s better to brush it off your shoulder. People like you or they don’t, but it does make you sad that your own people can be so negative. I’d love to follow them around all day and see what they look like on a 24-hour basis.
BET.com: You’ve been quoted in the past as saying that you’re OK with plastic surgery.
VF: Is this interview about plastic surgery? I don’t care. If we could skip over that, I would so appreciate it. I have said before that if plastic surgery is something that people want to go do, then do it. End of plastic surgery.
Dang, now I feel all bad. Yeah we are a little negative when we discuss her plastic surgery operations, but damn Viv, we do it because you didn’t need to get them!! You looked better before you did all that shit to your face.

I totally understand Vivicas’ ‘tude. But if you’re a public figure, that kind of scrutiny comes with the job! If somebody paid me hella’ kind’a money, I’d let ‘em follow me everywhere, even to the bathroom and let ‘em watch while I wiped my ass!!!
She looked better before, and that’s a judgement that the public has every right to voice. Now a little improvement on some disfigurement, that’s another thing. MJackson needed a nose job as a young man, cause that nose he had as a teen was ugly. But when vanity exceeds nessecity, HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!
Patti Labelle got a nose job, cool… she knew when to stop, however. Lil Kim, she needed to stop a long time ago… she’s making herself into a grotesque FREEK.
When a public figure becomes almost unidentifiable to the public, what are we supposed to do.. ignore the 300 pound gorilla in the room? GIT REAL!
