I was going to write my whole review on the documentary, but I’ll just post what I wrote on the Seventhirty Forums:
We as a nation need to start doing something. I’m sick of these politicians getting away with fucking murder without being reprimanded.
I was disgusted at the fact that AMERICAN citizens are still being treated like garbage (after THE FACT), despite having enough resources to allow them to live comfortably. Just like they said on the documentary, American officials don’t waste any time helping other countries, but when it comes to our own problems they could care less.
It isn’t just Bush & FEMA’s fault. It’s Ray Nagin’s fault, The Army Engineers fault, and That Blanco BITCH’s fault! The list goes on.
And don’t get me started on those insurance agencies, fucking despicable.
People need to start paying for what they did. I’m sick of just sitting here and knowing things are in turmoil and not doing anything about it.
We need to brainstorm possible solutions as a country and get it poppin. I’m sick of sitting on the wayside allowing “THE MAN’ to hinder our progress. It’s a shame, and something needs to be done.
And who checked out that elite levee system The Netherlands had? When I saw that, it just pissed me off. We have more resources, more man power, and MORE MONEY than The Netherlands and we still can’t get it right!
Anyway, I’m sure everyone has their two cents about the doc, so go ahead and express yourselves.
