I really admirer Angelina in some ways, liker involvment with the United Nations etc. None of her children looks the same and thay have different backgruond. I hope tht when the children gets elder, they will be free to explore “their” cultures… Not that I think this will be a problem in the Jolie-Britt family, but it is a known fact that many adopted childres gets identity problems after a while. Not all, but many.

In many years I think that we will se just what this spacial family has done with trends according to adoption, race etc. Maybe the will become a metaphor for what they want to world to be?

Fuck that, ALL of Africa is fine. The BS about Ethiopia and Eritrea/Somalia is really tired and ignorant.

My husband and I have adopted overseas as well as in the states. All I can say is that I’m glad Angelina is making overseas adoption acceptable in the media. Not that it wasn’t before, Mia Farrow and Josephine Baker has done this for years.

I’m black/catholic and my husband is white/jewish. We adopted a black baby boy(it was such a short wait, it was as if they couldn’t wait to hand him to us) and a few years later we adopted a white toddler boy( the process was difficult and the process was crazy, but b/c my husband is white and the agency felt like the child will have someone to identify with) Both boys were adopted here in the States. Its crazy, its always going to be black and white. And just recently we adopted twin baby girls from Somalia(the process was much easier and shorter waiting period)
Overseas adoption is quite a gamble and crazy at times.

The orphanages are always trying to “sell” you more babies at once. All for money. Of course, not all orphanages are like this but the one we dealt was. Didn’t tell us that the baby we were interested had a twin and the minute we were told and saw her, we immediately knew we couldn’t have them live apart.

With that being said, I appreciate what Angelina is doing in terms of being open to adoption but personally I have my gripes on the whole Brad/Jen thing. I know years later, I should let it go…

The statement about “Crown jewels of Africa” being Somalia is SO UNTRUE it’s not even funny. The “Giant of Africa” is actually Nigeria and in terms of resources like Gold, Diamonds, etc, there’s Ghana, Ivory Coast aka Cote d’Ivoire, etc, these countries all make up WEST AFRICA, which is the HEART of the motherland, not to mention the several other countries there are that make up Africa.

What’s wrong with this b****? (Angelina) After I heard she want another kid I’m starting to think she just adopting babies as her new hobby. Saying it has to blend with the rest of her kids I feel sorry for them really. They hardly spent anytime with the new baby and they gotta deal with a new brother or sister the next week. And why she going all over the place with these kids? They tired and want to take a look at the real home (probably for the first time). They didn’t even see their family members yet. I feel bad for Angelina’s father a little bit because her got her kids name wrong. But do you blame him? He’s been begging to see those kids, so does Brads parents a the rest of his relatives. I think Angie is a great gifted woman who has said in interviews that she is seeking to make a mark in the world, and I believe she is making a great one. No matter what anyone thinks of her you have to admit that these two kids are much better off for having her come into her world and she has a very big heart to take these children into her care(no matter howich she is or how many servants that are really taking of the children, which I doubt that she has), in fact the only thing i’m mad at is she has FINE ASS YES 40-YEAR OLD BRAD PITT, and i was mad at Jennifer Aniston about this too. I always wondered how the adoption process works. Do you have to pay or purchase adopted children? Me personally, would think that if you’re home is fit to have a child they should give that child to the family. There shouldn’t be a price over any child who’s adopted head, if there is one. They never asked to be put in that situation.

Just wondering what the process for a family is before they adopt a child.

Read the comment again. I don’t hate her for adopting chidren in need. I just don’t agree with why she wants to adopt another child right after she had her baby. She said the next kid has to blend. She doesn’t want another asian child or black child because she said some stupid mess that IT won’t blend. I thought that was very stupid for her to say. All I Want her to do is that about the kids needs instead of her own. She can’t go to all the places everytime and not even show her kids to her and Brad’s family members. Slow down Angie! ZaZa is from Ethiopia. But not only Ethiopia and Somalia have gorgeous people, all of Africa does. Some tribes are have more beautiful people than others but like everywhere else.

Massai people are gorgeous too… Have you seen people from Eritrea? Libya? Chad? THere are some gorgeous Sudanese… South Africa. It’s all tribal…

I must admit though, you American black folks are so misinformed about your African ancestry, it’s a shame. And you just can’t blame anyone for that but yourselves. It’s so unfortunate that some African Americans have no idea about Africa,they only believe what they see on TV about wars and famine but they don’t know the good part of Africa and it’s beauty.Zahara is from Ethiopia and Angelina doesn’t have to worry about her hair because most of the people from Ethiopia,Somalia,Erithrea,Djibouti have got fine hair similar to Arabs and it seems on the picture that Zahara has got that type of hair,if you know any Somali person check her hair she usually doesn’t need to relax her hair….. I understand why some people are so impressed with her but I encourage people to remember that celebrities carefully mold their reputations. We have no idea about her personal relationship with her children or any underlying reasons as to why she’s such a “humanitarian.” (such as the fact that she knows that people are extremely impressed by it) Not saying that she’s not doing great things (although all I’ve ever seen her doing is looking at poor people), but let’s not get too impressed. She’s doing what all people with some sort of advantage should be doing, helping. Obviously, not everybody does, but they should.
