I didn’t catch the episode last night, but I think they air it again on the weekend. Or I will just read what Rich from FOUR FOUR has to say, his blog is waaay better than the show anyway.
Tyra makes a surprise visit to the house to announce that the girls will be getting makeovers by beauty guru Frederic Fekkai. One girl has a meltdown over her new haircut but they all must use their new looks to compete in a fast-paced makeup challenge that is judged by Queen Latifah. One model returns to the house a sore loser and causes a fight that amps up the competition for a “hair wars” photo shoot. One model is eliminated. Special guests include Queen Latifah, photographer & guest judge Tracy Bayne, and hairstylist Frederic Fekkai.

Anchal impressed me I’m always happy to see a chic stand up for herself! Her pic was Tops too…
Monique- well I can’t believe anyone fell for her act from the jump when she got up there crying with not a tear in her eye! So fake, I knew I wouldn’t like her! She tried to use the black communities’ sensitivity regarding complexion to make herself an early fave… Then got in the house and acted a complete fool! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Eugenia is disappointing! I expected a lot more from a chic that looks just like Toni Childs!
The twins look like models, they are not cute by far, and I’m real anxious to see if they can pull off soft and pretty instead of just weird and awkward in a pic…
AJ is my second fave, she brings the fire to her pics!
I really liked Megan, I thought she had a chance oh well!
I felt sorry for Jaeda when Tyra called her handsome! I think Jaeda is from a small town and probably was the prettiest girl in the school, however I think it is sad that her belief in herself is based on how other people see her and not how she see’s herself! Personally I think Tyra was turned off by her saying that, and cut her hair just to break her! Just like she cut Jade’s beautiful dark hair and dyed it blonde to try and break her… There is no way you would think to cut someone’s hair short to make them look more feminine! If anything I would of given her a long sleek look with highlights or maybe even darkened it up…
Sometimes I wonder about that Tyra!

Also I think Anchal is goregeous, yes the twins are very ordinary looking but they fit the perfect model stereotype.
I agree w/ everyones comments about jaeda and the cut. Be carefule what you ask for cause you just might get it.

anchal has been featured in french vogue layouts. south asian/indian models are the business. outside of the u.s. (high, as opposed to commercial, fashion), the white/black paradigm is not the end all be.
The funny part was when Moniques mother was talking about how the girl didn’t know Monique is a child of God and how dangerous it is to mess with her. And then Moniques raises hell.
I am a fan of ANTM. However, I thin its time for Tyra to do a plus size/thick version of the show. I am tired of society, and the world in general, making it seem like only thin is beautiful! There are plenty of healthy thick women who are attractive. Hell, I wish Tocarra could have won instead of Eva. And yes Eva is pretty but it would be a mircacle if there was a ANTM for sizes 16 and up! Hell, I would be on the show!
To me Anchal is alright…I don’t think she is as great looking as people make her out to be. She does take good pics though, but then again, so do the twins, and I think that they are avg looking…so who knows. No longer a huge fan of this show…so whateva. My pick? Anyone BUT Monique

I’m not as into this season as I thought I would be. Maybe it’s just early…but these women have no looks that stand out. The black girls are not at all intriguing and all the girls are like super skinny. Hopefully though Anchal wins. They need a new indian girl out on the market
