Here is the newest Got Milk advertisment, featuring Beyonce and her mama, Tina Knowles. Looks like any old run of the mill House of Dereon ad to me.
Here is what it says:
“While I was growing up, my mother set a good example for me, which included eating right and drinking milk,” said Tina. “I have passed that on to my daughters, and now my grandson. Keeping ourselves busy with the clothing line and Beyonce’s new movie, we manage our weight by watching what we eat and drinking milk is a big part of that.”
Plus, if I was all up under my mom like that, she’d punch me in the throat! My mom don’t play that!

Some of you on here at like Beyonce’s goes and gets these ADs!! What ya’ll fail to realize is that many times these come to the stars because they are “HOT” at the moment.
Some of ya’ll act like Beyonce goes and request many of these ADs; when in actuality many of these endorsement deals come to the artists because they are “HOT” at the moment.

I wish beYAWNce will start using her power for change in the black community. I’m just reading some of the way these people feel about this stranger and willing to practically murder someone else over her and it is mind-blowing.
She seriously has the power to control people’s minds. That is a LOT of power for one women. So I propose that she use it to her advantage and start by changing the image of women, whether they are black or white, in the media as secondary creatures, from there she can encourage blacks to pursue educations, then from there…who knows…

I saw one of those Behind the Music (or E truly Hollywood Stories- can’t remember which) about Diana Ross about a week ago. She suffered from the same thing Beyonce is going through right now -overexposure. She was so overexposed in her younger years that people began to really dislike her. She’s still a legend, but now she can’t get a serious record deal. She’s suffered so much because of her downward spiral (DUI’s, failed Supreme reunions). Sad!
The moral of the story is…stop with all the Beyonce stuff.

About the picture: Hmm…it would have been nice to see Bey and her mom sitting down on the same level, close to each other, with their heads tilted towards each other and slightly touching or resting on each other, with nice big, genuine smiles. I think that would’ve really showcased a close bond between mother and child. Something about that picture says to me “I’m jealous of my extremely talented and beautiful young daughter and I’m living vicariously through her.”
I am not a Beyonce fan. However, while it might seem like there is a lot of Beyonce posts and things, there are only so many because she is doing so much out there. She’s constantly out and about these days. Who are we to tell Angel.la what to post? I don’t see anyone else out here creating their own blog to post whatever they want to post/see. I could be wrong but still, if it upsets you so then why comment on it? I said before on a Beyonce post that I do not care for her as a public figure but I do appreciate her vocal/dance talent. That comment got deleted for whatever reason but still, that’s how I feel about her.
Even though Beyonce is not a great public figure IMO, I won’t tear her down just for the sake of it. She’s a pretty girl with talent, but I will not glorify her just because she happens to be black nor will I call her horrible names. It is what it is.
