Monica, you sort of have a point. I have yet to see an atricle (not that I read many on her) that focuses on her music. Everything lately is about her wild donkey sex with JD or her weight loss or whatever. It’s usually not about the music.

Janet is world reknown. All she has to do is make an appearance to an event and ratings go up. That’s what you call a true superstar. Not many of today’s stars in training have that star quality no matter good you think they are. The same can be said for her brother Michael, though we haven’t heard music from him in a minute and his star quality has decrease somewhat, all he has to do is make an appearance and millions are still flocking to see him. Their concerts are always selling out all over the world. They are stand alone artists. I repeat, no many of artists of their caliber exist anymore. I agree with you #17 SOULSISTA, Janet has sold more magazine covers than any of her female alums in training. So apparently a lot of people are taking her very serious. So to the haters, get real, I mean really. For those who hate to see her on yet another cover or hear her talk about her personal life, who asked you to? When you get tired of seeing the same thing, then stop looking at it, I mean don’t you? That will more than handle that problem right there. Just don’t look. FIRST OF ALL – the only reason Janet looks like a 20year old ( to u, not me) is because the picture is airbrushed the hell out of and she has millions of bucks so she really has no excuse to be out of shape. Plus she gets plastic surgery! Yes she is a legend, so is her family, many of these ladies coming out 2day did not have family in the business to give them an in, so it is harder to become legends!!!!! Pac , Beyonce, are- will be legends on their own doing not because fambam was in the business.
Regardless, janet is not the same Janet she used to be. Gone are the Rythmnation days. I SAW JANET AND JD at Fred Segal in LA, passed them smiled and kept shopping. DAMN why do people act like it is that hard to get in shape. GET A GYM MEMBERSHIP AND ACTUALLY DO SOME CARDIO AND WEIGHTS or walk everyday for at least 30-40 min. It is not hard to get in shape, you just have to change your lifestyle, put down the doritos, and Micky Ds and start eating healthy, organic foods. A Fan not a Stan just (like you said) telling the truth. At some point you have to give credit where credit is due. Like others said whenever theres a Janet post it seems to have some negativity attached to it. Shes looking great and doing what she has to do to get attention like all other artists have to do when they are promoting a project.
