If it were only singing, then hell Patti Labelle’s record sales should be much higher than Mariah’s because she can sing her off of any stage. Shit i remember BET was the one who premiered the thats the way love goes video. anyway Janet isnt getting support from mtv because they are racists so she is on every magazine cover to get exposure. we should be giving her props. they are obviously flying off the shelves or she wouldnt be asked to be on every magazine under the suns cover. I heard her new album on bet.com and its her best work in a long time. I will definitely be getting my copy on tuesday!

Janet magazines sell out quicker than any other artist, that’s why all these magazines jumping all over here, i’m from Brooklyn and all the newstands are selling quick with Magazines with Janet on the cover, even the JET, and ESSENCE and EBONY magazines.

some of you people don’t make any sense. 20 yo is a GREAT album, minus JDs “ya know what this is…” in the background every now and then. “show me” is one of the hottest tracks i’ve heard in years. and to whoever said she hasn’t had a hit since the 90s.. do you not remember the whole All For You album? she was EVERYWHERE when that shit came out, and she came out hard. Virgin totally fucked her with single releases, but if you can recall there was also “Someone to call my lover” and “son of a gun” both did fairly well in the US. Damita Jo was a flop, FOR JANET STANDARDS, but it STILL sold over a million copies. if that’s a flop, then you need your head checked.
