Former boxing champion Mike Tyson has no idea why Jamie Foxx wants to play him in a new biopic, because he’s convinced his life has been a waste. The once-feared fighter, has been reduced to training for cash as a tourist attraction in Las Vegas, in an effort to pay off debts. Tyson’s training camp exhibition at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood hotel is drawing in the crowds but the boxer wants no one’s pity or praise.

This train wreck was bound to happen. It is truly one of the saddest stories in sports. I can see him killing himself or being a vagrant on the streets. People see Tyson as this animal, but he is really someone that needed guidance. He was really a very weak person, that needed affirmation. He did live the life though. If you go by material things, then he lived better than most people dreamed. He did show that all of the material things can fade quickly.

I agree with George Foreman that Mike has been the most mismanaged business (yes, as a professional boxer he is a business) ever until Bush mismanaged America. I mean anyone who gets into the ring has to have some degree of below average sanity so that’s why you rely on having good people around you to look out for your best interest personally and professionally. After Cus died he went straight downhill from there as no one else stepped up to the plate to be a role model and mentor unless it was a means to exploit him (i.e. Don King). I know we like to laugh at people like him and Michael Jackson, but personally I think they’re both living tradgedies because behind both of these people (and many more like them) probably more than a hundred or so people became success stories riding them into the ground. Matter of fact Ali has suffered alot of knock downs, just not knockouts. Ali is most def the greatest, but tyson would knock him out in his prime. Ali relied on his speed more than his hands for defense. He outmanuvered other boxers but always left his head open to shots. Tyson is different from foreman. Foreman was big and had a very strong punch, but he was a slow fighter compared to Tyson in his prime. Add Tysons speed, and knockout power like FOremans and you got the ultimate combo against Ali. Tyson also had very good defense when he came out. Like i said we talking about hir prime here, his knockouts came way after he had fallen off and done everything there was to do( maybe except like 1). Anways I got my money on the young Tyson beating Ali, one punch and Ali would have been out.
