Former boxing champion Mike Tyson has no idea why Jamie Foxx wants to play him in a new biopic, because he’s convinced his life has been a waste. The once-feared fighter, has been reduced to training for cash as a tourist attraction in Las Vegas, in an effort to pay off debts. Tyson’s training camp exhibition at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood hotel is drawing in the crowds but the boxer wants no one’s pity or praise.

And here’s my thing about celebrities with ridiculous amounts of money. They should give back to the community. Making millions for one fight is crazy money. instead of buying multiple mansions and ferraris, he could have built a community center in Brooklyn, where he is from. Helped some kids go to college. I believe GOD blesses certain people with talent and money to help out others. And he did NONE of that. Jesus didnt keep all the fish to himself. He shared with his people. Do you know how much GOOD he could have done?? Even T.I. is rebuilding neighborhoods in his town. And I KNOW he not making 36 million dollars in one album much less one Fight.

I think I know what Mike is trying to say. He is saying that spending his life beating the fuck out of people for millions of bucks was not the greatest thing he could have done with his life. He means that maybe being a highschool history teacher could have been a more rewarding path to take.
His life hasn’t been a waste, he’s just made some very, very, very poor choices. At one time he did make history and I can certainly see Jamie playing him in a film. He’d do it justice.
Mike awww don’t beat yourself up about past mistakes. No matter what you’ve done in your past know that your life was not a waste. God has a purpose and a plan for your life and until you stop trying to fix your life and put it in Jesus Hands you will continue to feel this way. I pray that you begin to realize that your still here for a reason and the Lord is able to give you a new chapter to start your life with a clean slate.
