King Magazine Online just posted some of the pics from their new Janet Jackson issue. I’m not feeling that short wig she has on, but these pictures are better than most of the spreads she has done thus far. Her abs look good too! She need to hurry up and release that workout tape that she has been talking about….

KING: You’ve been to Studio 54, arguably the most sexually explicit nightclub in the history of the U.S., and you weren’t even a teenager yet. Do you remember that experience?
Janet: That’s probably what started it all with me [laughs]. I remember [Studio 54 co-owner] Steve Rubell very well. I can see his face right now. I was just a baby: 10, 11 years old. I went there a couple of times. I remember seeing Liza [Minelli], Truman Capote – but I didn’t know who he was at the time. I’d been to parties with my family and we’d dance, but I’d never really gotten into a club before. People were getting really raunchy on the steps. Ciara – Promise (full) – download
I posted the AOL rip of this song, but this is the full promo version. I’m excited about Ciara’s new project, I think it’s really good that she’s exploring other producers and doing a lot of co-production and writing. I like to see artists take the reigns and do stuff the want to do. Ciara has definitely stepped her game up, and I think this new album will mark new territory for her. I guess I’m proud because she’s young and a fellow A-Town representer. Ha. And because I love Prince, and this song definitely gives me that vibe.
Omarion – The Truth (full) – download
It seems like “Entourage” came out ages ago, so it seems weird that Omarion’s album hasn’t dropped yet. But the truth of the matter is, there hasn’t been too much buzz about the album. Honestly, though, I like this song. Even though Omarion’s nasal voice isn’t really my cup of material, I feel like his material has matured a lot. He’s not my favorite, but I don’t despise what he’s doing. The song is produced by resident TUG producer, Cory Bold.

Last night, I attended “The List,” a party thrown by celebrity stylist, Fadia Kader and celebrity and fashion publicist Nicole Garner at the Hush VIP Lounge in Atlanta. The celebration was in honor of Janelle Monae and Scar being featured on the OutKast “Idlewild” album. It was a really great night! These are some pictures I took at the event. Enjoy!
