This song was the shit back in 1998 (it still is). I was only 14, but I remember chilling with my friend and her older sister would blast it loud in her car. Gotta love the 90s.
In related news, Nicole Wray is working hard on her new album, which will be released sometime next year. She was dropped from the Dame Dash Music Group and is now signed to Mike Jones’ Ice Age Entertainment.

This song was hot and still is. It’s hard to say what became of Nicole Wray, though. She had two more singles from that album, I think. Then she did a few things with Missy (All In My grill, and she did a few adlibs for Missy’s Under Construction album, but I don’t think she got credited, and then some of her stuff was replaced by Tweet).
I *heard* she was lazy and pissed a few people off, which is why she never took off. But this was a long time ago, and I could be wrong. It would explain why her latest stuff wasn’t so hot (Her last album with if I was your girlfriend was actually pretty damn crappy).

I remeber this song from back in the day too. It seems like a really long time ago. I like this song, I don’t love it but I still like it. I guess its not her destiney to be commercially successful. Not everyone will blow up and make it big. Some people blow up their first debut out and others have to build up their fan base overtime.
I’m agreeing with #13, They haven’t been the same. Nicole’s album was the shit, eye’s better not wonder and borrowed time are classics(IMO). No, its because we haven’t heard from her in awhile. As far as I know that song was a wonder hit wonder. Fergie’s been out there and she can sing. Just because she’s white with a weak bladder can’t minus the fact that the girl has plenty of talent. I would rather you mention the ones with no/not too much talent; Like Cassie, Rihanna ect. There okay dancers but they don’t have “the whole package.” I mean lets be honest! But I’m still rooting for Nicole, and I hope she stays for good because she’s really talented. I’m ready for that album!

I had the chance to dance with Nicole after winning a local contest at the YMCA.
Hundreds showed up and only four were picked. It was a great experience.
We got to dance with her when she performed.. just doing whatever, and then we got a chance to eat and take pictures, sign autographs, and just talk to her.
She was really nice. I wish I could find the picture we took to scan it.
