Shareefa has grown on me, including that “Need A Boss” song, since they play it every 5 minutes here. I guess the fact that the past weekend was DTP Weekend here in Atlanta doesn’t help too much. But this is sort of like deja vu. This song sounds exactly like “Need A Boss” to me. And surprise, it’s produced by Darkchild! It really does sound like the same song to me for some reason, minus the vocal skip sample.

Thanks to UltimateKelis.com for this track! It’s supposedly an internation bonus track from “Kelis Was Here,” which is also growing on me (select songs). I can definitely see why this didn’t make the US release. Kelis’s voice actually sounds pretty good on this song. And check out the feature from Foxy Brown’s ex-boo.

I don’t know, a Nicole Wray come back, again? It didn’t work with her last single (“If I Was Your Girlfriend,” which I loved). I guess she decided to recruit gogo-master, Rich Harrison, which is who this track is produced by. I’m going to do a little more research because I want to find out who she’s signed to now. It can’t possibly be the Roc anymore.

Another bonus track from “B’Day.” This song comes with your purchase when you pre-order from iTunes. It’s another Swizz Beats production. The track is very energetic, and of course, it finds Beyonce belting over one of his ever-so-repetitve his productions. I honestly think this song is sort of interesting. I cracked up laughing at the beginning of the song. Listen and you’ll see why.
I miss Nicole too….Everytime I think about “make it hot”, I think about how Missy really fucked that up. Home girl can really blow.
Beyonce–the song has a lot of energy. I can appreciate it all but the first scream “OMG….” sounds all tongue like she has a learning disability.

shareefa is really starting to grow on me. I’ll admit, I wasn’t that enthusiastic about “I Need A Boss” at first either. I guess i’m drawn to her voice more than anything.
I already got Kelis’ album, i’m knocking that in rotation. I like how every song has a different vibe while maintaining it’s consistentcy. This song is ok for a minute,(literally), the beat is just all over the damn place.
Nicole has got so much skill, it sickens me that we gotta wait 10 years for her to drop a new album. I really hope that she finds a label that will nurture her abilities.
Beyonce….OMG, will she just stop it already, lost yo mind(not cute). I mean soldier was big for them because it was so out of charactor, ya know unexpected. But please don’t make a career out of it, 2much hood banter for America’s sweetheart can be bad for your health. I listened to her entire album this morning on AOL and was floored by it. Every song was boom boom clap it bored the hell out of me. Here kitty kitty was the best thang smoking and only because the hook was kinda cute.

I thought beyonce didn’t write any of her songs on B’Day. I heard her say she made a selection out of 16 songs. she didn’t say anything about her writing anything, and you kno that if she wrote it, she wouldn’t shut up about that. I’m lovin’ all 4 of these songs. Beyonce and Kelis should have put these songs on their albums! And I love Nicole Wray! It’s something about her voice, from talking to other people, it’s like you either love it or hate it, and I love her voice! I have her old album, her unreleased album, and I’m waiting for her new one to drop. Shareefa’s song is cool, too, although it does sound a lot like “Need A Boss”. She sounds a lot like Keyshia Cole (even looks like her a bit). I think she’s going to have to work hard to establish her own identity seperate from Keyshia.

Beyonce doesn’t sound bad when she sings but she tries too hard! She’s not soulful at all. And if I have to listen to a song more than once or twice to get a feeling of it , it ain’t worth it keep listening to it until I get it! A good artist and a good song is going to catch you from the start! She doesn’t have a strong voice for all that screaming, that’s why people are saying she’s screaming that’s what it sounds like…..a mess! She fell off maybe the next cd she will come better. I like the song KittyKatt and that’s about it.

I love the Beyonce’ song. I like this song more than “Ring The Alarm”. I hope she does re-release B’Day because she does have some nice stuff that she left off the album. “Creole” is another favorite of mine.
