Funny that this song reminds me so much of something that was on Lauryn Hill’s classic, “Miseducation” album. I am hoping that I am going to like John Legend’s new album, because even though his first album, “Get Lifted,” was great, and critically acclaimed, I wasn’t really knocking it too hard. But I love this song as well as the new single, “Save Room.”

This is a more serious side of Ludacris that we rarely get to see. Unfortunately, this song falls a little short for me because it’s very ABC-rhymish, if you know what I mean. I can appreciate the subject matter and I think it’s important for people to hear stuff like this to creater awareness, but something about this song just really disappoints me.

I’m excited about Monica’s new album, just because right now from all the songs I’ve heard, it seems like this is her most personal album. Although she said that “After the Storm” was very personal for her, I think this one will touch on a lot of issues Monica’s dealt with in life. I’ll be copping “The Makings of Me.”
Shareefa feat. Bobby Valentino – Hey Babe (full) – download
People really like Shareefa, but for some reason, I can’t get into it. I got a chance to see her perform live and she sounds great. I love her voice, but I don’t particularly care for her music. And everyone knows that Bobby Valentino leaves me cold. I don’t know, I just feel like these R&B artists that Disturbing tha Peace puts out are all lack-luster. Perhaps Shareefa will grow on me.

That is the same way I feel about Monica. I like her and all but she been the game to long to be where she is. She is still trying to get it together. I think this album -might be the breaker for her. That other track Missy produced – it should have went on the last album.
I like the new Ludacrus and Mary and u see Luda serious side. Monica I love it. I have already her 6 cut from Monica’s album and all of them are FIRE!!!!! It shows her personal side and with her down to earth side. To comment on Honest Truth the reason why Monica is where she is because of people who dont really support her like that. Monica is a very talented artist who often get over look by the people who look to the like of Beyonce just to name one. Monica is an R&B artist not a commercial artist. She doesnt appeal to the likings of everyone. I wish she was bigger than she was ,but she seems happy at where she is so I am happy for her and will support her (By the Way Monica will be on 106 & Park on September 26 Performing Check It Out!!!!) I havent heard the rest of the songs but I will be sure to check them out.

Yeah that John Legend track is hella old. It was on his Solo Sessions at the Knitting Factory album…thats from before Get Lifted. And there’s a Lauryn Hill sample in the track….though I can’t remember which song.

I like the Bobby V. and Shareefa song but she sounds alot like Aaliyah. That Ciara “Promis” is hot as well, she got that Prince type vibe going on . J.T got a song “Until the end of time” that has the whole Prince vibe going as well.

Hmmm…..I’m kinda undecided about the Monica song. It seemed as though it was building up to something and then the snippet was over. I’ve already got like 3 or 4 Shareefa songs on my iPod, this will make 5. John Legend is my boy i’m in lust with his voice. Tolerating Luda for the Luv of Mary, he’s just so disappointing sometimes.

The song “fool wit u” is also sung by Chapter 4. I’m not sure who had it first but Chapter 4 sounds 100% better.
I like Luda and Mary’s song…. It sounds JUST like Pac’s “Brenda’s Got a Baby” though. Some of the words are the same….the premise is very similar, the tempo is exactly the same….It’s still aight though…
