Fantasia feat. Big Boi - Hood Boi (full) - download
Looks like our girl Fantasia is back! I want to like this song, but it’s so typical and cliche. And everyone knows how much I love Big Boi/OutKast. However, I think the production and the sample are tight and Fantasia’s vocal performance never disappoints. On her new album, Fantasia is set to work again with Missy Elliott and others, including Kanye West.
Teedra Moses - Take My Love Away (full rip) - download
I’ve posted this before, but I want to refresh you guys with the latest recording by Teedra Moses. “Take My Love Away” is a beautiful ballad, that reminds us of her debut album, “Complex Simplicity.” Teedra always combines beautiful melodies with heart-felt lyrics. Her music always has a personality and brings a lot of authentic feeling. I really dig this track.
Fergie feat. Ludacris - Glamorous (full) - download
I like this song, but it was weird hearing it, because Gwen Stefani’d used this beat for a remix of “Luxurious,” and it randomly containted a feature from Ludacris as well. I was a little confused, because you know how people it Gwen and Fergie against eachother, because both are white and pretty much widely accepted by the hip hop community. Anyway, nice song from Fergie’s album.
Robin Thicke - In My Dreams (full) - download
This is an outtake from Robin Thicke’s sophomore album, “The Evolution of Robin Thicke,” which is due out October 3. I’m a little disappointed that this song isn’t making the album, because it was one of my favorite uptempo songs on the advance release of the album. Unfortunately, “In My Dreams” does not appear on the retail version of Thicke’s album. Definitely gives me a lot of Prince flavor, which I love.

Fantasia- Ahh shit… she saying “Nigga” in her music now. What a transaction. I like it though
Teedra Moses- Her songs nice. I like soulful records.
Fergie- Didn’t bother with it.
Robin Thicke- What the hell? Dude sounds like Prince. Why he always change his voice. I don’t know about that song.

Fantasia-That’s what I’m talkin’ bout!! I need a Hood Boi as well, U Go Fantasia
Teedra-I have heard so much about her, but nothin’ from her yet… she is pretty and a good songwritter, but I am not feelin’ her style.. she needs to make it more modern or else it will but everyone to sleep like it did me…take a note from Jill Scott, she is classic but with more modern Neo-Soul instrumentation. SHE IS BORING!!
Fergie- I refuse to listen to her rap any further!!! I will only listen to her sing. SHe has a powerfull voice I don’t know why she won’t use it.
Robin Thicke- I have love him since his first single when he had long hair and was drivin’ around town on a bicycle, but not feelin’ this song. His wife is BEAUTIFUL and I hope she makes it in Hollywood. I read an article on her a few months back where she said he has been very supportive of her and tryin’ to find out what she wants to do with her life. He supported her financially while she went to her auditions and everything!! See sista’s, we gotta start givin’ these white boys a chance becase they know the real meaning of TEAM WORK…Now look @ them, both of them are makin’ money now. Brutha’s, get a clue LOL!!!!

- For some reason..I’m expecting something grown and sexy [ala Gladys or Patti] from Fanny. Hopefully as she grows her music material will too.
Besides all that..this is a nice track.
- I HATE Fergie aka Stacy Ferguson when she was a white chick. Not impressed by the coattail ridin @ all [w/ them L.A.M.B. rejects behind her in that video].
- LOVE Thicke since his hobo style days. lol Always nice.

Fantasia feat. Big Boi - I really like this vibe from her. I can’t wait for her album.
Teedra Moses - This is a very interesting song. I think it will grow on me.
Fergie feat. Luda - I’m really feeling this song. I think her album is gonna end up more hip-hop instead of pop. Do ya thing Fergie.
Robin Thicke - He just really make me miss Jon B even more. Come back JON!!!

Hdizzle…I think the point of the song is she *doesn’t* want a pretty nucca. lol

That’s always been my problem with Teadra Moses and why I could never get into her.
The sista’s got talent, that can’t be denied. But whoever she’s working with always gives her stale, over-done, unoriginal material. It always sounds like something all of her contemporaries have already done. It’s a shame because I think she has a unique voice.

I want to like Teedra but I can never get into her music. She killed it on that Raphael Saadiq song “I want you back” tho. Robin Thicke’s song is OK, it sounds like Justin Timberlake trying to be Prince. Not even bothering with Pissy um I mean Fergie. Now Fantasia come on, that’s just ghetto as hell. I’m pretty sure they’ll edit that track or make it evaporate before the album comes out. We can’t have our American Idol singing “black folks music”.

I love me some Teedra. Thank you this song is great.
Fantasia’s I’m not feeling that much.
The Fergie song is one of the few I like from the album.
I’m dissappointed with Robin. This was one of the better songs and there was a lot of great songs on the advance that I think were better than the retail. To each his own I guess.

Thicke’s album is sooo good and half the songs that leaked aren’t even on the cd. I got to see him perform live a couple of weeks ago and he was tryin to rappin. It was the cutest thing. Do u happen to have the full version of All Night Long ft Lil Wayne cause that’s my shit & I’m sure ppl will like it.

Oh and that Fergie song is WACK cause not only does she still the beat, the subject matter but the same damn verse ludacris used for the Gwen remix. She could have at least tried. And I don’t think the only reason ppl pit them again one another is because their white it’s because Fergie’s comes off as a Gwen wanna b especially in that london bridge’s video. I know there aren’t any new ideas under the sun but damn u can at least try to make it ur own rather just imitation.

like eh sazid the tasia song was cliche, why are people (her and Bow Wow) throwing out “nigga” and the qulaity was kinda bad or was it, i didn’t like Big Boi and i think she needs to come hard with this cd, the first should have gotten more play, but now she needs to just do it up, this should just be an album filler, shot left off, but if she does lead with this single, the second NEEDS TO BE A BANGER!!!

I don’t like it, she is too good for this stuff. She lost me at ni99a. I don’t get the female R&B women talking like rappers, Ni99a this Ni99a that. I think she should take a page from Mary J song book. She’s is low-balling. Hood boy??? She’s a grown woman. I am sorry I don’t know what a ni**a is, I have dated any. I have dated black men though. So for the people who think their “ni**as”, I am sure this songs for them. I guess I respect for myself to think of anything black person as “ni**a”. I see black men as men, good ones, bad ones there men to me.
Who wrote this song Mannie Fresh!!!

Ok Fan you need not be throwing the N word around like that! But of course it is fire. and of course cuz Fan isnt tall light-skinned and has an over bite, lol, she is not going to get the same hype or sells. If you ask me Fans first album was better than a certain high yellow artist second solo album.

Fantasia!!!! I’m appalled. I am so tired of black men being referred to as niggers. It’s tragic. Nigger was carved on the backs of “our” male ancestors when they were lynched. Nigger was yelled at “our” female ancestors as they were raped! Why, why, why perpetuate this hateful term into the new milleneum? I won’t be giving Clive or Barrino a dime. The track is nice and she’s a great singer but those lyrics are bigtime offensive.

#37 I did not say Mary’s Life book, I said Mary’s song book. LOL. The songs Mary did ealier in a career were great. They had edge, but were not low class. I am a fan of no one. If singers depended on me to but cds they would starve. Fanny needs to leave songs like Baby Mama, Hood boy and her new one Baby Making Hips alone. She had a bult in audience and she blowing it with this kind of mess. I think she’s a great singer and need to find songs that relfect that.

I love Teedra Moses as well. It is nice to see she has some what of a fan base althought her first album (which was EX-CELL-ENT!) did to to hot. Please continue to remind people she is out there cause she can write and sing her a$$ off. These are to qualities that are difficult to find in artists these days so we have to embrace the ones that have the talent and execute it well. I can;t wait for the new album. And I too love “I want you back”

A “trap” can be anything from where drugs are sold, to the corner where dealers hang or just the streets in general.
Basically “trap” is another word for “hood”
