So here is Ciara’s album cover for her second release “The Evolution”. If I could describe it in one word, it would be - bleh. I was expecting something a heck of alot hotter with a title like “The Evolution”. At least you can’t say she ain’t got her own little style going on though.
Ciara’s album will hit stores December 5th, with productions from Rodney Jerkins, The Neptunes, Polow, Will.I.Am, and more. Even though this cover is a bore, I’m still antcipating her new cd.
Much love to Devin for the picture!

Damn every day a new couple alert has been popping up. I don’t know if these are true or not, but I’m sure you many of you want to know about it anyway.
First up we have Tyra Banks and Chingy. Yes! Tyra, 33, and rapper Chingy, 26, are supposedly playing “footsie” with one another. Star Magazine is reporting that Tyra recently got her kiss on with the rapper on the set of her show. Chingy has a thing for girls with nice feet, so Tyra made sure to have her feet done when he showed up.
“On the first episode, Tyra tried to kiss Chingy, and he seemed to be taken aback by her forwardness,” an audience member tells Star, “But the next day, Tyra teased Chingy, saying, ‘I have a fresh pedi!” Chingy immediately rubbed and kissed Tyra’s bare feet and then said, ‘I know I was a little taken back the other day, but now I’m ready for a real kiss!’ and the two locked lips! You could see the sparks fly!” [READ MORE]

Myra Panache has another blind item for yall..
A year ago, I attended a hip-hop function on the East Coast. One particular rapper was loudly proclaiming how he keeps his bit**es in line. He described verbal abuse, beatdowns and humiliation. It was disgusting. He went on to say, he gets tips from watching “Forced Sex” movies which are basically films featuring women brutally raped and degraded. This rapper left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Earlier this year, I met a woman who once dated him. Over time, I expected her to open up about the verbal and physical abuse she must have suffered at the hands of this rapper. I was shocked when she informed me, that his tough guy-woman hating-persona is all an “act.” She went on to say, he works overtime trying to come off hard.
In reality, she said he is one of the sweetest and nicest guys she ever dated. She also revealed, he was tender and attentive.
She added, when they argued, he usually left the house and he never raised a hand to hit her. He also bought her a car, took her on trips and paid the rent on her condo. She even showed me some of the poems he had written her.
She described him as being a real giver and not a taker.
This rapper seems to have the whole world fooled in regards to his image.
Hints: He has been in the rap game for a minute. It’s not Snoop or Dre.
*Note: It’s a called a blind item, you will never get the answer. So don’t play if you don’t like the rules.

Karla Manley, a sophomore at
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore, hit me up recently so I could spread the word about this great cause. Please take the time out to read up on it and if you can, help them out with a donation.
The New Orleans Education Project is a group of students, staff, and faculty with a common goal to help the people and city of New Orleans recover from Hurricane Katrina, and in the process to educate ourselves and our communities on the issues in New Orleans. We will travel to New Orleans January 5th to 11th 2007 to help clean-up and rebuild. We are looking for sponsors and donors to help us pay transport costs. We are developing a long-term relationship between our Eastern Shore community and the Gulf Coast. New Orleans is known for its history, its annual Mardi Gras celebration, its music, and its love for great food and a great life. Since hurricane Katrina, New Orleans has been struggling to return to the place it has been. By contributing to NOEP you can help us toward our goal of helping to speed the return of New Orleans as a functional city. We believe that we must imagine the world as we want it to be, and then make the changes we want made. If not us, then who? You may have seen Spike Lee’s When The Levees Broke and have wondered how you can help. NOEP is your opportunity to help.
