I have nothing against Cassie, nothing whatsoever. But what makes me mad is that, there are MILLIONS, upon MILLIONS of people out there who can actually sing, I mean Whitney Houston sing, and they can’t get the time of day. Why? They’re probably not pretty enough. But this is the music business and image shouldn’t define how you sing. For someone to go out and actually buy her album is enough for me. People will actually debate on whether she can sing or not that is pure laughable. I can’t smile and try to be nice. This is truly unacceptable. But I will say forgive me Lord. Janet may not be able to sing all that well but she’s a great ENTERTAINER. Janet can dance her behind off and you know when you pay those high ticket prices for her concerts, you know you’re gonna get a SHOW. To me, Mary J. Blige and Keyshia Cole can’t sing but they know how to sing…you can feel every emotion and they put their all in every note.

I’m sorry but maybe back in the day when all it took was pretty face and a hot beat was all one needed to succeed, Cassie would have been a huge hit. But times have changed. I’m not saying that everyone is gravitating to amazing music nowadays…can you say MIMS…i’m hot cause i’m fly, you ain’t cause you not…music is definitely going downstream. But you gotta give us sumthin Cassie, I mean that girl couldn’t hit that high note on, “say you wanna love me.” Everything else in that song is completely monotonous. We all know that Ciara does not have the best voice, but that girl has the most amazing and innovative dance moves that it compensates for her voice. And I love Tamia, her voice is lovely, but she has absolutely zero charisma. Is Cassie kidding? If the girl really tried and took vocal lessons to enhance her voice, she will be seen as a music industry dream…or close to it anyway. But she can barely dance, her performing skills are, quite frankly, horrible and she can’t even hit her own notes…which aren’t even that high, for chrissake.
