The only evolution I see is that she went from Honey-Blonde hair to dark brown hair. The cover is nice, but it is sort of reminiscent of a perfume advertisement.

You can have all the talent in the world, but you will NEVER be exempt from haters, apparently even after death. But you can’t use what others have to say as proof. Aaliyah wasn’t the best singer, but she could sing. There are several videos of her on YouTube you could sight as evidence.

As far as the cover, its ok. Its just a cover. I really wasn’t expecting anything iconic like the Janet. cover.

i think its funny to read the discourse over the lack of power behind someone’s voice. aaliyah’s voice indeed was soft yet there was colour and range to her ability that read effortlessly on the ears & why she gets the repect even by veterans she deserves.

Well I used to like Ciara untill she took some things from my demo to put on her new album, she’s not original. That hurts when someone else takes something you did and put there name on it. And since I dont have a record deal yet I cant do anythind about it. She took little parts from each one of my songs on my demo. She got it from a manager I gave it to, he gave my cd to jazzy pha. We went to the same school and everything but when I come out im not even gonna say anything about her, im still gonna do my thing because I have enough talent to keep writing hits and all I gotta say is Karma is gonna be a *itch dont believe me youll see. Ciara’s ‘The Evolution’ represents so much. The sunglasses and silver pants represent a futuristic look. The way her arms are folded represents the changes she has went through.(Her faith,attitude, and her confidence). Showing off her left torso she shows a boyish but yet attractive side thats new yet plain. Plus the title of the album speaks for its self. The song that I believe represent an evolution in Ciara are: “Like A Boy”, “Promise”, “I Proceed”, “My Love”, “Bang it up”, “Get in,Fit in”, “Im just me”, and mostly “I found myself”. Clearly we’re looking at a different Ciara than GOODIES. A newer,better, sexier Ciara. ‘THE EVOLUTION’.
