FATHER CLAIMS MADONNA ADOPTION WASN’T EXPLAINED TO HIM

Monday, October 23, 2006

maad.jpg
The father of Madonna’s adopted son has claimed he never agreed to give up his baby.

Malawian crop-worker Yohane Banda, father of 13-month-old baby David, has said he only agreed to let the singer raise the child on his behalf until he was old enough to return to his family.

Yohane is quoted by Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper as saying:

“Had they told us that Madonna wanted to adopt my son and make him her own son, we would not have agreed to that. It would have been better for him to continue staying at the orphanage because I see no reason why my child should be given away forever when I can feed him.”

Maxwell Matewere, rights activist and director of Eye of the Child, told AFP that Mr. Banda is illiterate and didn’t understand the word adoption.

Mr Banda’s U-turn comes as a legal battle is about to be launched by a human rights campaign group who believe Madonna sidestepped Malawian adoption procedures.

I was wondering how the hell she got a kid so fast, when it takes other people months (even years) to officially adopt a child.

In related news, Madonna will be taping an episode of Oprah on Tuesday, to talk about this whole “adoption” thing. So make sure you look out for that.

ITS NOT SO MUCH THE WHITE CELEBS ADOPTING US BECAUSE HELL MADONNA CAN COME ADOPT MY BLACK ASS, BUT IT IS THE MOTIVES THAT MAKE ME CRINGE. NOW ANGELINA SEEMED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT WHAT LEGAL ADOPTIONS ENTAILED AND SHE HAS A BEAUTIFUL PLAN TO ADOPT CHILDREN OF ALL NATIONALITIES TO MAKE UP A JOLIE RAINBOW TRIBE, COOL. BUT MADONNA SEEMED MALICIOUS AND TOO EAGER TO FLAUNT HER BUCKS. THAT AINT COOL AND IF THIS DAD WASNT TOLD THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOT THE SUGAR COATED VERSION THEN HELL NO SHE NEEDS TO LEAVE THAT BABY ALONE BUT SHE SHOULD SLOW DOWN BECAUSE IN ABOUT 10 YEARS THAT BABY IS GOING TO MAKE HIS OWN FEELINGS KNOWN WHEN HE READS AND FINDS OUT ABOUT HIS LINEAGE BEFORE THE BLONDE AMBITION, SO IF SHE CAN DEAL WITH THAT THEN GOOD LUCK

For the folks who insisted that “celebs” are shopping for children - if you have ANY knowledge of the adoption process, you’d know that middle class and even FOSTER families do the same thing… look into black children in the system, I can tell you the order in which the children are adopted out;

1) Babies
2) Baby girls
3) Baby boys
4) Light complected girls with “good” hair
5) Light complected boys with “good hair
6) Pretty girls
7) Pretty boys

AND THEN everybody else.

So if Madonna is shopping for children, she is doing no different than AVERAGE people.

WTF? Something is going fishy going on over there in Africa! Tell me WHY I JUST saw him TV talking about how he “can’t feed and provide” for his own son so this would be good for him?

After a certain age its gets kind old to play ‘Indian Giver,’ especially with a child. Whatever.

The boy has a father living who can provde food for him, but nothing else. He lives in an orphanage. If you don’t won’t your child adopted then don’t put them in an orphanage. I feel for him, but this kid is getting the chance of a life time. I am sure the father can be a part of the kids life, but what can the father really give this kid. Love don’t mean a thing when you are living in an orphanage, hungry, broke, and uneducated.

I am sure that man loves his son, but it doesn’t seem like he stepped up to the plate until he realize a rich white woman was involved. He has pressure from human rights activist to make a stand, but where were all of these people when the little boy was homeless. He’s either able to take care of the boy or not, if he can’t he need allow his son this opportunity.

Besides, other than Oprah, I haven’t seen too many black folks trying to adopt some balck kids in Harlem, let alone any where in Africa.

I love how people talk about Madonna as if they know her. Whatever. You don’t know what’s in that woman’s heart, you haven’t even spoken a damn word to her!

You talk about her fake accent and then turn around and put a weave in your head or straighten your hair or dye it with chemicals. Stop calling Madonna out when you’re just as much a fake!

That man couldn’t take care of his child and now he can? Please, lies. That man is lying and all upset because that legal group is putting pressure on him.

I wonder what would happen if Madonna just gives the child back? Do you think his daddy is going to take care of him? No. That child is going back to the orphanage and poverty.

Madonna should have adopted a baby whose parents were deceased. Then she wouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense.

Children all over the world need adoption not just in America. In fact African children have it much much worse than any child in America! As long as the child is going to a loving home that can provide for him then I don’t care if the parents are white black or whatever!

Haters. Those legal defense people. The people who are trying to stop this adoption.

He did not say that shit, it’s a lie. If he could feed the child then why was the child in the orphanage?

Where the fuck were human rights folks when the little guy was in the orphange starving?

Come on if Madonna or any celebrity can adopt a child and give it a way better life that what he/she was living before, what’s the big deal?

Mandonna has two kids of her own and obviously she has done a good job so far, because as much controversy that surrounds her, if she was a bad mother, it would have been out already. Look at what they did to Britney Spears.

Madonna can give this child the best life possible and I dont see any thing wrong with that. Legal adoption or not - and that’s real!

the adopt-an-orphan fad is pissin me off too. its one thing if ur doing it to actually give a child a better life but these people do it with cameras arounds in everything. i heard that the boys father wanted his son to be in a christian home and people just totally ignored his request. i also that its the Malawian policy for adoption that the adoptive parent has to stay there for 18 months. celebrities getting around the rules so that the nannies can raise the children is ridiculous to me. didn’t Zahara get practically stolen from her grandmother when Angelina adopted her? its not right at all.

Maybe his child was n an orphange until he could get on his feet 2 take care of him as a single parent. Yall keep sayin he didn’t want his child. The kid could have been put n2 the orphange n the same way ppl have 2 put there kids n foster care until they can take care of them. They don’t neccessarily want them 2 b adopted out.

Just cause u saw him on tv sayin he’s happy about it doesn’t mean nothing. This is an uneducated African man up against a white american who is an international superstar with a lot of money & a higher level of education, plus the powers that b n his country. Have u ever heard of intimidation? I think it would b overwhelmin 2 b n his position & being comfronted by these ppl w/ more power than u.

I’m not tryin 2 say he shouldn’t let Madonna adopt his kid or even that he should. But I’m tryin 2 play devil’s advocate b/c the majority of yall r basically like he should shut up & let the nice rich white lady have his baby. That’s his child, if he doesn’t want his child completely out of his life, that’s his business. Who knows he could have honestly been mislead? I’m sure he doesn’t know too many kids gettin adopted so y should he understand that process.

I don’t think she even want this child. I think she got him because. everyone is getting a blackchild like their try to say something. i think the only people who really care and got a child to take care of her, was brad and angelina. I think they really care and madonna is just try to follow after them. I think first madonna should to get a child to love and take care of them because, she wants to see them happy and okay, not because everyone else is doing it. their humans, not bags!

Original post:
My question is why aren’t black celebs adopting? Halle Berry tells anyone who will listen she wants a baby. She’s 40. Why not adopt? Same with Janet Jackson. They can keep trying to have a biological one, don’t get me wrong. But if you really have baby fever, why not adopt? Maybe they want babies for the wrong reasons…

That is what I said. I had to elaborate to get you to comprehend. Calling FOUL!

I have been outraged by the whole adoption thing. I really think it has become a fad to adopt African children right now. By next year maybe it will be poor children from Latin America or something.

After first reading the father’s response to the adoption, I was a bit perplexed because I am African and although I can not speak for every single African person, I will say that it is rare that we give our children up for adoption. It is different if the parents are dead, but usually when the parents are alive, and do not have much money the parents will give the child to another person or relative to raise and take care on their behalf. The child is not adopted and understands this, and just living with a person who can better care for them for the time being.

To the person who said he should get a job, he does have a job, he works in the fields (I do not remember exactly what he does there), so he either does not make enough money to care for the child or he has to work such long hours that he can not give the baby the kind of attention he needs and so he brought the child to the orphanage. Which is a pretty likely occurrence in Africa when one parent is dead, specifically when the mother is the deceased and there are no relatives that can care for the child.

Further, the quote that is stated here and in other news articles is a translation because to my knowledge the father does not speak English. With translations sometimes the general meaning may get conveyed, but the exact meaning gets lost. So he may be saying that he did not understand what he was signing as whoever was with him when he signed the papers did not explain everything to him properly. However, I would be cautious to take every single word for face value in that statement because it is a translation and not all translations are 100% accurate as not all translators are good translators, even if they are stated in reliable sources. (I have been a witness to this personnally).

He needs to shut up for real? Why in the hell would you want your son living in a damn orphanage, starving, and walking on dirt roads, when he could have a wonderful childhood. Madonna isn’t keeping the dad out of his life, the boy obviously knows who his dad is so what is the damn problem. If you love your children you will suffer for them and he needs to understand that he has to make a sacrifice for the life of his child.

I doubt Madonna has a big heart. I dont even think it is about helping him, it’s just a fad like I said before . Just because he is in an orphanage in Africa does not mean that is life is horrible, Madonna might be able to provide a better life for him because she is wealthy, but he could still have a decent life in Africa. He is only 13 months old, how is he going to know his father a few years from now? I doubt that Madonna is going fly him back and forth to see his father or fly his father back and forth. If she cared so much for his well being, why doesnt she just support him financially while he is in Africa. Sort of like a sponsor, a lot of people do that. Oprah does that and she has much more money than Madonna and her reasoning was that providing a better life for a child is not only about money.

first of all i come from the ivory coast , in africa so let me break it down for you guys . most african cultures do not believe in adoption , a lot of people let their kids stay with friends and/or family far away in other villages or cities where the kid can have a better education and a chance at success . the kid returns to the village at least once every month and as soon as the parents have their finances together they contribute to the child’s education . african people , despite what you see on the news are not always looking to get rich quick or hustle somebody . as a people at our core we value solidarity and basic principles or good neighborliness .

now as far as the kid being in an orphanage , the mother died 1 week after his birth , there are no wet nurses in the village and no medical facilities to ensure pediatric care so the father signed an agreement with the orphanage stating that his son will stay there until he is of age and not so much at risk of falling ill . the father works the boy lost his mom and the village is so poor that no one else could help out . i mean homeboy was on a bike every other day for 25 miles to see the boy , come on that is his only son . i am lucky to come from africa and be a part of the western world but it hurt when i read certain comments stating that he is looking for a payday , a lot of people are happy with what they have even if by western standards its “not enough” for some people tradition and values are more important , and before making ignorant comments learn how to form and opinion ,
sorry for the essay , it just had to be said !!

“OK Madonna, now that you have met me and my son, give me some money to take care of him from now, and it was nice meeting you”.

^

You say it as if this man forces Madonna to pay him and take care of his son. I’m not saying she has to do this, I’m saying she’s wealthy enough to support this little boy enough for him to grow up and able to take care of himself. If this man says he didn’t not know that his son was getting adopted then lets give him the benefit of a doubt. He probably misunderstood the writing on the adoption papers. Hey, maybe he is lying about everything, but I can’t just come to that conclusion without getting the facts straightened out. I know I would be devastated if I misread something and they had to take my child away. I guess I understand alittle bit more then others what this man might be going though.

Maybe if Madonna does like Angelina and doesn’t permanently take this child away from his homeland (have them both visit his family certain times of the year) The Father would probably be more satisfied with that.

Im not even going to bother reading all this shit but to answer your question #7 according to Access Hollywood, Madonna and her husband were going to adopt a kid from inner city California until Angelina and Brad had dinner with them and convinced them to adopt an African baby. I wish people would just STOP with this “why don’t they adopt US babies” shit. And stop calling it a fad for goodness sake! Not that many stars adopt overseas. It’s funny cuz Sharon Stone has three, yes THREE adopted sons but I’ve never heard anyone complain. Same with Tom and Nicole and Steven Speildburg (sp).Hmmm, maybe it’s because they’ve all adopted American kids? People we need to stop this selfish way of thinking. Children are children. I really hope you guys are planning to adopt in the US? If not, then y’all are total hypocrites.

If y’all have such a problem with US kids not being adopted enough than take it up with the people in power who make it damn near IMPOSSIBLE to get a child over here. Taking your frustration out on people like Madonna and Angelina is useless.

What a 3-ring circus. The father knows goddamnwell that he knew his child was gone for good before the media gassed him up. Lol at the people that say that “Africa needs this” or “this is good for the African children”. You mean to tell me that for the millions of people over there starving that for Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Paris Hilton, etc. to “adopt” these children one at a time is doing them a favor? You sound like that character on the Boondocks, Ruckus, that used to say that the “white man” saved us from a lifetime of swinging on trees. So damn simple. If the “rich people” really wanted to do the Africans a favor, why don’t you give them back the rights to their own land and natural resources. The caucasians literally make trillions of dollars off of the gold, oil, diamonds, rubber, etc. that they take from the Africans. Then some simpleton has the nerve to say that they’re doing the Africans a favor by adopting them. Kidnap them and indoctrinate them into that Kabbalah bullshit and teach them nothing about their own culture. Certain negroes sicken me with that shit.

I agree with you Mia, I am African myself (Nigerian to be exact) but I must say that David’s father is a fool if he does not want Madonna to take care of his son. An African orphanage is not the best place to be, believe me. He knew what was going on, he had the situation fully explained to him according to the agency. He still wants Madonna to take care of David, even if he is confused about the whole thing.

Adoption may not be traditional for Africans but most parents in Mr. Banda’s situation would give ANYTHING for their child to be adopted, especially by a multi-millionaire.

It’s funny how some people are now trying to sue Madonna. Are they going to take care of David? Will they feel good about themselves if the boy is sent back to the orphanage? I do not think these people have David’s best interest at heart, they just wanna puch their own agendas.

HISTORY (HIS STORY)

Monday, October 23, 2006 /

To me it matters if a non black person (especially a white person) is going to raise a black child

How can a white parent raise a black child in a World that can’t see pass color & doesn’t want to speak on the things that make US special (like OUR languages) or even the “UGLY” things that happned to US (like slavery)?

I’ll give an example:
In my HISTORY class I had a white teacher, he said he was going to discuss a VERY touchy subject…This fool put in a video that talked about ‘the movement’, but he COULDN”T answer NOT one of our questions! Then one of my friends asked “Wasn’t there more to black HISTORY like religion, tribes (Zulu), way of life back in Africa or even here in America & what about slavery?” He asked to speak to her after class. I waited for her. She told me that he told her that they would NOT discuss slavery or any thing else she mention b/c it was in the past, to long AND to EMOTIONAL of a subject. So, her sassy butt replied “We took mnths to learn about the Romans and mnths to learn about Hitler ”

So, that is why I would have a problem with a white person raising a black child for how can they teach us about OUR HISTORY?

-Peace

PS. If ya recall back in 2000 or 2001 the President signed a petition granting US blacks Freedom, well, last time I checked I thought we were FREE; things like this is why I believe a white parent CANNOT raise a black child; somethings may be to “touchy” for them

Also, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY if the man wants HIS child back give him HIS child back! B/c one day HIS child will come looking for him and ask ” Why did you not fight for me, father?”

Thanks so much for your insight. I’m amazed at how many african americans are posting such narrow minded comments w/o even trying to get the whole story or see the perspective of their black brotherns. All black folks don’t come from NY or MS and all don’t have a western sensability. It is actually possible that this illiterate man didn’t get the concept by signing some papers that his child would be lost to him forever. And why is it such a stretch for some of you to believe that the Malawian government officials misled this man. I mean hell, they told him that Madonna was a nice christian woman. And do you honestly think that with 3mil on the table, and the possibility of more to come, that’s not incentive for them to lie?

I cant judge this man. Im sure a lot of people who give up there children have second thoughts. But sometimes its too late. I dont know what the mans situation is but he may have been confused about the situation. I personally would find it very hard to give me child up no matter how poor I was. I just would have faith in God that I would be able to raise my child properly. I dont know if the boy will grow up to resent his father if he has to go back. I didnt grow up rich and I definetly dont resent my single mom. I didnt have everything the other kids had but i moved on. I think modonna should just give the kid back to his father!! Cos one day the kid gonna turn around and say where is my family? where do I come from? etc.. he gonna say dat cos he gonna know that modonna is not his mother! (colour different). So what is Modonna gonna say “oh sorry son i adopted you and your father wanted you back but I refused.” She should save herself the trouble cos when the kid grows up he is gonna start hating her for refusing to give him back to his father.

And plus the kid gonna lose his Cultural identity!! Can anyone here imagine you acting some thing your not? i.e your blood is Jamican and you were bought up to act like indian. Nah i cant imagina myself as something else.

Also alot of kids who gets adopted later when they grow up start looking for their real parent and family.

If Modonna is considering to refuse to give the child back, she needs to keep all the things i said in mind.

Cos bringing a child you took away from his family is gonna be hard!!

Peace out

I CANT BELIEVE HE ACTUALLY THOUGHT HE COULD DO MADONNA LIKE THAT, PUT UR SON INTO WEALTH AND EDUCATION SO THAT WAY HE COULD COME BACK TO YOU AND EVERYONE CAN SHARE THE….”SUCCESS IN THE NEWLY CHANGED INDIVIDUAL”. THATS WHAT HAPPENS IN SOCIETY THE PARENT TAKES CARE OF THE CHILD THEN THE CHILD TAKES CARE OF THE PARENT- IN MOST CASES, WHEN THE FAMILY TIES ARE STRONG, DUDE YOU CAN NOT GIVE YOUR CHILD TO SOMEONE WEALTHY SO THEY CAN FEED, CLOTHE, GIVE SHELTER, EDUCATION, AND ALL THE MISCELLANEOUS IN BETWEEN JUST TO GIVE HIM BACK AND EVERYONE IN HOMELAND ENJOY THE FRUITS, THATS NOT HOW THIS WORLD WORKS UNFORTUNATELY

I AGREE. SHE SHOULD DEFINITELY GIVE THE CHILD BACK. IF THE FAMILY COULD CARE FOR THE CHILD I SEE NO POINT IN HER NOT GIVING HIM BACK TO THEM. IF IT’S FOR A MUCH BETTER EDUCATION, THEN IT’S A GO TO ME. HE COULD RETURN WHEN HE’S OLDER.

that’s how it works in Africa a lot of times. This is what a lot of people are missing. They are trying to analyze his perspective from a Western point of view. But this is very common in Africa, someone whose family does not have much money is raised by a wealthier family member or person. The child usually does come back and usually does send money back to the parent(s) to take care of the parents. This is VERY common amongst Africans. Adoption is far less common.

I BELIEVE ANGELINA ADOPTED A BLACK CHILD BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT SHE REALLY WANTED TO DO (SHE ALSO ADOPTED THAT LITTLE CHINESE BOY AND SHE ALWAYS LOVED GOING TO AFRICA)…BUT I BELIEVE PEOPLE LIKE BRITTANY SPEARS IS DOING IT AS A TREND.

LMAO @ #3 caff! I hadn’t even realized that the boy had on the blouse until you said so. Man, that’s messed up. If Madonna is dressing that boy like that then she really needs to return him b/c that ain’t right. And vice versa. This is why some children end up being gay. Damn parents dressing them or letting the child dress themselves in blouses and skirts. LOL What next…high heels and a purse? NE Way, I think Madonna should just return the boy and adopt another. I’m sure there are plenty more kids that need a home and loving family.

Lol, #129 that little boy is not David. David is 13 months old, that kid looks 4 or 5. Ya’ll need to kill all the clothes jokes. These orphanages take clothing donations, those of you crackin jokes on the polka dots should box up some Rocawear, Akademics or Evisu and send it to the kids. I’m sure they’d love it.

This was not a good match! The agency should have checked the drama meter before they matched Madonna and little David!

There are thousands of other little boys or girls that she can switch for, but why should little suffer if he’s the chosen one? He has a chance to have a rich life and his dad is trying to derail that!

He’s not asking for money…just his son back, so he can provide him food! Bull$#!T! In Malawi, David will probably live to age 40 and die a poor diseased man! With Madonna, he will probably live to be 60 or 70 and make a valuable contribution to his people and the world!

Moses became a great leader when his mother and father put him in a little boat and let him float on the river!

Sometimes, life requies juxtapositional actions!

wow! people amaze me! my problem with madge is that this “adoption!” seems more of a publicity stunt.

reality is david will be raised by a nanny and tutors, madge wont even take care of the child. yes he will be fed, clothed, educated but he will hav no concept of his culture/identity and probly wont even be cared for by his mother (madge).

i doubt her decision to adpopt was made in the childs interests, even wen she made her public speech all she really spoke about was her and her man (forget his name) how theyve never been happier….etc

and apparently her hubbie was against the idea of adoption in the first place. i just hope she actually cares for the child, the way angelina trully cares for zahara and madox.

lmao @ 22 and 28
and jewel THANK YOU
i was getting pissed reading that shit about the damn polka dot blouse already
is that shit RELEVANT? its a fucking orphange for godsakes
they wear what the fuck they can get their hands on
its not like they take them to the mall to pick the shit out

anyway i am in no way comparing the plight of a human being to that of an animal BUT
i remember when i put my dog up for adoption because i could no longer take care of him and i went home and cried like a fucking baby all weekend and when i went back the following monday to try and get him back he was already adopted and i was miserable for 2 months straight (i still get sad thinking about him)
my point is sometimes we do things and in hindsight we realize it was the wrong decision
i think david’s dad knew what he was doing initially but i think he regretted the decision after the family got on him for allowing the adoption and then maybe he really evaluated the situation thereafter and realized he wasnt making the right choice afterall

@ #130 Oh hell! I thought that was David. I said to myself well the boy is all grown up now and the father wants him back. My bad. And I do give my clothes and my kids clothes to the salvation army all the time. So I do donate to people who are less fortunate. But whoever but that damn shirt on that boy is f^in wrong. I still stand my ground with that $hit!

His son was at the orphanage because the mother died and the son had a fever and the father feared that the baby had malaria which his other son died of so he brought him to the orphanage hoping that he would get better there. He is illiterate and that is why he did not know what the word adoption meant. It was also said that he listened to the government when he signed the adoption papers they told him that his son would be returned to him. He is a potato farmer and he was going to remove his son from the orphanage once he got back on his feet. Some people are acting as though it is impossible that he did not understand what he was getting himself into. Anyway I hope how ever this turns out it is in the best interest of the child because in the end that’s what really matters.

he didn’t give the baby up for adoption. he said he couldn’t read or write and they tricked him and told him “a nice christian lady” would feed the baby and send him to school, like the orphanage was feeding the baby. he said he didn’t understand the term adoption. she is a human trafficker. she is disgusting.

David had spent most of his life in an orphanage with 500 other orphans. Madonna didn’t know the state of David’s health when she was visiting Malawi and considering adopting David. She brought a pediatrician to test all of the children’s health for their overall well being, and later learned that David tested negative for tuberculosis, malaria, HIV and other common illnesses striking African orphans.

“When I met him, he was extremely ill,” Madonna says. “He had severe pneumonia, and he could hardly breathe. I was in a state of panic, because I didn’t want to leave him in the orphanage because I knew they didn’t have medication to take care of him. We got permission to take him to a clinic to have a bronchial dilator put on him. … He had pneumonia and was given an injection of antibiotics. He’s still a little bit ill, not completely free of his pneumonia, but he’s much better than he was when we found him.”

So she basically saves the child’s life and some people have the nerve to talk shit about her and question her motives? What baby’s life have you saved? What baby have you adopted?

I bet if she had adopted an asian baby you would be bitching that no one wants to adopt african babies! Some people are never satisfied unless they are tearing people down and hurting their own. Let the self hatred go, please

RE: UHUH Post

I take it you saw the Oprah show as well. I agree with you for the most part at the same time though I do think she is lying about certain things. It was so much hesitation comming from her when commenting about the matter. Oprah just ran with it and did not question anything @ all. Also I the father in my opinion did not understood the paperwork in question.

I think Madonna would have been better off attempting to adopt a parentless child, not a 1-year-old with a living (and probably soon to be demanding) father.

Still I honestly dont know why children (A.American) children cant be adopted. There are plenty of children here in the US that need homes and dying with diesaes.

Its great that children from Africa are being adopted but it seems as if its a fad like the latest handbag of the moment.

Nope, the father knew exactly what was going on and he wanted his baby to adopted by Madonna. Now he’s hiding from the media and those human rights groups because they want to use them for their own purposes.

They already twisted his words and now he’s not having it!

Funny how people were so quick to cover for the “poor simple village man” who couldn’t possibly understand what was going on even with a translator!

He understood. He wants his baby to stay with Madonna. End of story.

Adoption in africa has been going on for years before a celebrity did and will continue after they do it. How is it fad when its been happening for years and years? The only reason we know when people like Jolie or Madonna adopt is because they are famous.
