JAY-Z GETS STREET NAMED AFTER HIM IN NIGERIA

js1.jpg js4.jpg
Jay-Z is living it up in Africa. Just recently, the people of Nigeria named a street after him. This was their way of saying thank you, for all the work he has done with his water crisis program. There he is draped in traditional threads and kicking it with the Kwara State governor, Bukola Saraki. Lookin good Jay!

    BEWARE OF THE NIGERIANS

They are some of the greasist, shistiest, low down, money savaging blood suckers in Africa.

NO DISRESPECT TO THE DESCENT ONES

I KNOW THAT ALL NIGERIANS ARE NOT LIKE THIS

    BUT

Dr. Phil just did a recent show about Nigerian Jigalows over the internet STEALING folk’s identities and posing as romantists swindling these helpless, naive house women out of their savings.

    ITS A DAMN SHAME!!!!!!!

JAY Z is one of the shistiest negroes in the industry today.

He backstabbed his longtime business partners out of the label they created together

TIME WILL ONLY REVEAL THE TRUTH BEHIND HIS RECENT PHILANTROPISM AND POLITICAL POWER.

JAYZ IS SCANDAL WAITING TO BE UNFOLDED.

    this story doesnt surprise me

BIRDS OF A FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER.

HEH, My Beloved PEOPLE OF Africa! Why are WE (ALL) acting like we all do no longer come from the same Great, Motherland Africa. If there be ANY of you that dare to deny your descendancy OF or FROM that great continent AFRICA, regardless of it`s unstable rulings and governments and economies, then such would be really a FOOL and actually stupid.
WE ALL are AFRICANS,AND STILL AFRICANS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE AFRICANS. Being born in America or in Britain or even in Jamaica does not, and should not, create the SAME WALL OF PARTICTION that those White Devils (The Human Oppressors and Thieves who came in the DIRTY name of “Slvaery”) caused for us all Africans. We have suffered greatly and terribly in the past, and THIS IS NOT a TIME when we all Africans need to tear down ourselves whether we came from NIgeria or are AfriMerican born or AfriBrish born. Let us all unite ourselves at this time and not tear our Motherland Africa the more. Let us not scatter Africa! Let us unite as one, for we are all Africans and we are all still one.
Let us stop blaming our forefathers for selling over here to African America or over to African Britain here or the Carribeans there. Remember that the foolish thieves who called them superior and human slave traders also threatened our forefathers that it is either we submit to giving them our own people or they themselves would be included. SO let us not stand Here in Diaspora to blame and to condemn our own African parent of ages ago, rather let those of our Africans outside not feel sad or bad our dull or ashamed of ourselves as Ebonites or as Africans. Instead let us remember that we were not “enslaved” to those places where you all now live but where STOLEN – that is – taken without permission from the vivtims themselves. Let us stop exposing our own wounds to flies and our own African nakedness to this already wicked world or to those like the KKKs who do hate US. WE ARE ALLSTILL ONE: AFRICA. I was born in Nigeria, and I do not see myself as better than African Carribeans or AfriMericans or AfBrish. LET US ALL – ALL -ALL BE UNITED AS ONE.: FOR INDEED, UNITED WE STAND, AND TRULY, DIVIDED WE FALL.
DO NOT FORGET THAT WITHOUT AFRICA, OUR ROOTS CANNOT BE TRACED; AND THAT WOULD MEAN A BIG SHAME FOR WE ALL CHILDREN OF AFRICA; be it American born or British born or Carribean born. ALL THAT IS JUST TO SHOW HOW GREAT AND TRULY DIVERSIFIED OUR GREATLY BELOVED HOME AFRICA IS BUT yet UNITED. United I say!
    Peace! Brothers and Sisters.

  11. Oro

Just came across this posts that has been going on since Oct 2006.
Quite interesting really, but i thought Jay Z had the water project thing in ANGOLA and not NIGERIA.
Why do African Americans for anything going on in Africa always want to mention or link NIGERIA to it.

MESSEDUP, I agree with you 100% but at the same time, we should understand that many (NOT GENERALIZING) African Americans do not fully comprehend the relevance of an education, hence you see so many living substandard lives in a country like America where so many Immigrants from different parts of the world come in and within a couple of years are living a good life.
Take a look at the JEWS, they were once slaves, but after the whole experience they were able to come together and understand that for them to progress, every JEWISH child must get an education.
Many African Americans have been programmed to believe that they can only make it through HIPHOP, yes, some do make it, but what about the other millions out there that do not make it and at the same time do not have an education; that’s so sad, I personally feel sorry for them.

As a NIGERIAN living in Los Angeles, well educated with a masters degree, I have come across a few African Americans that have been well educated and do not fit the media description of a Black American man.

One thing I have noticed though is that it is usually the blacks with little or no education that are usually the loudest, I have personally come across a lot of such folks at work.

Where I originally come from, someone with just a High School Diploma is as good as a house servant or a mechanic or carpenter or plumber, nothing more, and you are not expected to be heard, but a culture shock for me when I moved here 6yrs ago, high schoolers seem to think they are the shit, making so much noise, being obnoxious, I was really surprised.

Thats cool though, I do not really care for them, they can make all the noise in the world.

But this unnecessary dislike for Nigerians by some (NOT GENERALIZING) African Americans is uncalled for.
Dont hate us for being the best out of Africa, dont hate us for being smart enough to take whomevers money, other races out there in America today do that,
dont hate us for being smarter and better than you, dont hate us for having our life well structured.
Whether we screw around with any female from any race, when it comes to family, we are on point, we take care of business.
You guys could and can learn a lot from us if you humble yourselves.

NIGERIA, I agree has corruption problems, but I challenge any African American to prove to me with facts that America does not have corruption alive and well in its system.

And as a Nigeria by birth and a naturalised American by virtue of my investments in this country, I love the fact that I am capable of going home whenever I feel like.

I am not here to call names and do not expect to be called a name, I’m just stating the truth and fact.

    Oro

  12. eve

Thanks Oro for making that clear. It can be really disturbing to know that most people have low regards for Nigerians because of the corruption, but there are so many countries out there that are as corrupt or even worse. I am proud to be a well educated Nigerian female and all this HATE on Nigerias is uncalled for. Talk about the fact that Jay-Z went there to help and not turn this discussion into some other topic.

I really don’t think that’s it is a big deal because Jay got a street named after him in Nigeria. I think that he deserves it. All that work that he did with the water crisis program. He was trying to help save lives i think. He was helping clean the oil out of the water so that many more Nigerians could live. Give the man a BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets talk about how Nigerians got corrupted. It was back in the ”70s when Americans came to Nigeria and drained almost 50% of our crude oil and paid us with fake drugs, stale foods, and all kinds of junk items. What did you think should happen? We hit the road and tried to revenge, but in the process things got out of hand and we ended up not knowing who the real culprit is. We are not even talking about how 160 million Nigerians were dragged through the Atlantic Ocean in the 1600s and more than half were eaten by sharks. We will continue to be corrupt until justice comes from your side

  24. Lawoye

I wonder if there are not enough Nigerians, whose names qualify for this. I do not mind names like Dr. Martin Luther King, and probably Malcolm X, but how come cannabis junks like Bob Marley, etc. Soon all streets in Nigeria are going to be given West Indian names and African American names, and so on. What slavish lot are Nigerians? If you live in the UK, for instance, you would probably understand what I mean – how arrogantly and stupidly West Indians behave towards Africans, and how they are seriously under the delussion that they are superior and Africans are bushmen, etc. They are even more racist here than the whites themselves. It is mainly we Africans playing their reggae, calypso, etc., but how many of them play African music.
Nigeria is a country of over 140 million and we have far more than enough Nigerians that qualified for this street renaming.
However, the former Vice President Abubakar does not in any way qualify and neither do people like Obasanjo, for these are members of the corrupt lot – highly involved in land grabbing, land coveting, pilfering, etc. – see news on 4 February 2009 over Nigerian Senate recommendations to FCTA

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Not a unhealthy post in the least!
